The Vineyard

Nestled on the plateau of a rather large mountain is the humble Chateau de Cromwell. There is a large patio on the outer edge looking off the plateau and into the vineyard to the south.
The building itself is made of a pale sandstone with a tower on the western side; the roof is made of red, fired clay shingles. The large front door is hard wood with bronze straps and rivets. The foyer is open with a small bar to the left.
Directly in front is a door to the patio, while a door to the right leads to the primary tasting area. The primary tasting room has a stone bar with a bronze top, a doorway behind it leading to a kitchen, with a door to the patio. The patio itself is composed of two parts: the upper patio has wrought iron tables and chairs with a bar encircling it. It is covered and has 4 furnaces allowing it to be closed up and kept warm in the cooler months. The windows are removable as well to allow a cross breeze in the summer; the lower patio is a flagstone area with a few tables for two, a bench shaped as half an octagon surround a fire pit, and a fence keeping patrons out of the vineyard.
The western tower is only accessible by employees and stores all the food and supplies for the vineyard. It also has an access to the underground wine cave. Inside this cave are 3 distinct rooms. A private tasting area that run solely by Lucas, and a wine cellar where all the bottled wine is stored in racks. The third room is the barrel and fermentation room, which has a large door that allows the large carts to carry the grapes from each harvest. The barrels are organized in separate sections, each marked with the flag of its varietal. The fermentation area has multiple large metal drums for processing, and a long slide that the grapes are dumped on allowing for the hand removal of any unwanted plant debris.
Out in the vineyard, the grape vines run perpendicular to the slope around the three sides that lead up to the chateau. They are separated into the different varietals, each section marked by large flags on the corners. Additionally, each row is marked by a brass number on the trellis posts.
Both the vineyard and the winery are run, managed, and maintained by Jace Cromwell and his employees: Stellvira, Ame Shika, and Arnalda.

Red Wine
Cabernet Sauvignon - 35

- This dark and lush red is aged for two years in french oak barrels
- An absolutely exquisite red wine that no wine-language can properly express. This subtly sweet Tannat is not fortified with brandy. It is sold in a half bottle.
Rosés
Tannat Rosé - 20
- Light bodied, dense and concentrated with dark cherry fruit flavors and crisp finish; sold in a half bottle.

White Wine
Petit Manseng - 35
- A full bodied white wine, erupting with crisp yet concentrated fruit expression, and offering a lingering yet clean finish.
- A refreshing, elegant wine with underlying minerality and subtle accents of tropical fruit; 70% Pinot Grigio and 30% Chardonnay.
- This wine brilliantly expresses the varietal character of the Chardonnay grape in the elegant style of classic Chardonnay. Attention is given to vanilla and toasted oak, while expressing subtleties of coffee and hazelnut, and released only after being aged in 100% new french oak barrels.

Limited Reserve Tannat- Full bodied, dense and concentrated with black fruit flavors and a silky smooth finish.
- Aged 20 months in oak barrels, it's a blend of 40% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petite Verdot, 10% Malbec, 10% Cabernet Franc.
- A finely made wine that is vibrantly rich, brimming with delicious fruit notes and bright acidity. It has a sense of concentration, with ripe strawberry and red cherry fruits, and a crisp finish.
