'Lia was born into a wealthy gypsy family in Vorsava, and was one of six siblings, all raised in a crammed but spotless environment. As her family moved around a lot, they were never in a spacious home, even though her father had the financial means to take up dwelling in a luxurious estate. Even though they lived in a small home, they always had what they wanted, spoiled rotten. 'Lia and her family have traveled all over Rrussia, Grreece, and Frrance. Spending most of her time in Rrussia, she was able to pick up on the language. She was pulled out of schooling at a young age, and like most femmes in her culture, she was taught how to be an exemplary housewife to her future husband and mother to her future children. Femmes having a job of their own is not an option in her culture, they had to depend on their husbands for the financial support, and be the homemaker. Through all the free time that she had growing up, besides cleaning every nook and cranny of her family's home and taking care of her younger siblings, she took up creative hobbies, spending most of her time learning how to sew and make clothing.
At the age of 17, she was married off to her now deceased husband. They had a fairly happy life together, though she was entirely unaware of her husband's affairs outside of their home. Little did she know that he was involved in some dangerous business, and she came to that harsh reality when an officer came to her door one day and informed her that her husband was found dead. It was determined a few days later that he was killed by a member of the Rrussian mob.
Left with no one to pay for the roof over her head, she moved back in with her parents until she could get back on her feet. To her father's dismay, she decided to get a job as a seamstress's assistant so that she could establish herself as a professional seamstress. 'Lia would rather go against her own traditions than risk not having anything to fall back on. And she was not willing to marry again, at least not for a while.
A New Beginning
Lia decided it was time to move out of her parent's home, though it was painfully sad for her to say goodbye to her beloved younger siblings. What made things even more disheartening was that she didn't know when the next time she would see her family again, and she knew that there was hardly any work to be found near by. The seamstress she was working with had lost a lot of business, eventually having to close down shop. And so Lia made the very difficult decision to set off to the New Worlde, in hopes of finding better prospects for a job. It has been a long and exhausting journey from The Olde Worlde, especially through this dreadful winter. But finally, Spring is here and 'Lia has settled down in the town of Challiston Cross, Kasuria, able to establish a career as a seamstress in Proper. It has been a rough few years ever since her husband was killed, and it was not easy for this young tigress to face depression along with trying to get her life in order. She stuck through it, though, and it is paying off at last. She was able to meet some friendly new faces in this quaint little town, and even learn how to swim!
