  Body Type: Proportionately lean muscled and strong. Very much the body of a fighter.

  Physical Details (Hair/Eyes/Skin/Etc): Hair is just barely shoulder length and a mop of soot black curls. Face seems perpetually stubbly and is rarely (if ever) clean shaven. Eyes are a vivid and brilliant chartreuse flecked with bits of warm gold; the iris is outlined in amber. Eyes also revert to a piercing pure gold when shifting, angered, or otherwise upset/surprised. Skin is a dark olive tone and sunbaked tan from years spent out in the blazing sunlight. Also possesses feline-like characteristics, such as: longer and more pointed nails, slightly more pointed canines, a subtle point to his ears, and pupils can also become slitted at times of extreme emotion. This is usually when agitated or furious.
  
  Physical Markings: Faint whip scars across upper back and shoulder blades, as well as on the backs of both legs. Claw marks on lower left hip, and fainter claw marks across chest. Sword scar stretching from front to back of lower right side. Left arm littered with various small sword nicks and upper right arm has a burn scar from being branded with a hot iron. Right side of collarbone is branded with the Roman Numeral "VI", in the curve between neck and shoulder. There is also a notch of skin missing from the top of his left ear.
  
  Physical Drawbacks: Strong willed and rash at times, sometimes to the point of near death. Perhaps a bit too cocky, proud and self assured at times as well. Outspoken, independent and quite impassive, despite his rank (which can lead to trouble more often than not). Prefers not to fight if such an action can be avoided, but if he is forced to defend himself or others close to him, he will more often than not go into a bloodlust of sorts. This is a product of his bestial side and is near impossible to control, and will not subside until either the opponent has been killed, or he is dispatched himself (knocking him out usually does the trick). This, however, is a side of him that is rarely glimpsed, as he does his very best to keep the animal half of him in check, so to speak. Also, as he is currently enslaved, metal bracers have been placed around his wrists to prevent any potential shift from man to animal. As it can be a drawback defense-wise, it is probably for the better, as any natural, animalistic aggressions are drastically reduced.

  Physical Defenses: Besides years of hand to hand gladiatorial combat and training, he possesses a keen intuition, a sort of "sixth sense" that most (if not all) animals seem to have. He is also swift and quick in times of danger, in both human and animal form. Also possesses heightened auditory, visual, olfactory and tactile senses beyond that of the average human. Stamina is also drastically heightened as well as a higher tolerance for physical pain. Being a were, he does have some regenerative abilities in addition, though, this by no means constitutes him as "super human". It merely means that if he gets injured, he heals much faster than a human would. Besides being muscular and fit in human form, his lion form is quite large and in this form, he could easily rip a man to shreds.
  
  Appealing Attributes and Attraction: Despite being half beast, he strives to present a kind demeanor and calm exterior. He can be quite charming in his own right, and an amusing conversationalist, particularly if discussing a topic of strong interest. As far as physical appearance goes, he is rather attractive by "manly" aspects, with tan skin, angular face, thick, dark lashes, and well defined jawline. Though he realizes said attractiveness, he's surprisingly not stuck on himself, like many people would assume, though he's prone to be cocky over matters of brute strength and combat strategy. A loyal and faithful individual to those who have proven themselves trustworthy, he makes for pleasant company, and is overall friendly and approachable, providing the one approaching him is the same.
  
  Clothing: As gladiatorial armor has been stowed away by the establishment, he now wears a simple, long white woolen tunic tied tightly at the waist with a braided brown leather cord. Brown leather sandals lace up his calves, tied tightly at the back of his knees.
  
  Other Items on Person (Or would be if not in cages): Thracian armor consisting of: parma (a small round shield of wood and metal), sica(very curved sword), thigh high metal greaves, a broad rimmed metal helmet covering the entire head and face, and a white woolen loincloth with a cingulum (wide leather belt) to secure it at the waist. Also owns a type of chest ornament of a bronze lion's head secured between two thick belts of brown leather that buckle across chest and back in a "X" like fashion. Above the lions head, an engraved inscription reads "Semper Audax", an old Latin phrase meaning "Always Bold" (A personal item worn mainly for show, but was also occasionally worn in combat.) As well as his armor, a small leather pouch containing a bit of both aureus(gold) and denarius(silver) coins were taken and stowed along with his armor.
  
  
  Behavior
  
  Feral or Cultured: Cultured, but retains some feral like mannerisms when provoked.
  
  Phobias: None to speak of.
  
  Disorders: None, unless his were-half could be considered a disorder.
  
  How do they present themselves: According on how he is approached, this can range, though he is generally charming and friendly, despite bestial side and former occupation.
  
  Feelings towards being owned/rented: He isn't too thrilled about the ordeal, after all, who would be? He does, however, understand and accept his station as a slave, and if treated with the proper respect, he will have no qualms with being rented or even owned. He realizes he isn't a freeman, but that doesn't mean one should expect him to cower in fear or roll over like some submissive puppy; he still has his dignity. Simply put, he can and will be obedient to those who treat him fairly and seek to utilize him for his positive talents and skills.
  
  Overall Attitude: Friendly and respectful when shown such, and a complete and savage beast when physically threatened or attacked. As with the vast majority of individuals, it is all in how he is treated. Works well and cooperates with kind, sensible people. Does not play well with assholes.
  
  Hobbies/Interests: Having been trained in mostly combat for the majority of his life, he isn't all that multi-talented in many areas. Outside of fighting, he is an adept tracker and hunter. He would also make a fine body guard, due to his sheer physical strength and unwavering courage. He also doesn't mention this to most, but he is quite skilled at playing the kithara (an ancient stringed instrument in the lyre family), though, as he no longer possesses one, he is a bit out of practice. Outside of these few skills, he enjoys all manner of outdoor sports (swimming is a particular favorite), archery, cooking, wood carving, painting, bird watching, and star-gazing, and claims these as personal hobbies.

  Diet/Allergies: No allergies, and as far as diet goes, he's not too picky, though prefers a diet high in protein. As one could plainly guess, meat is a highly favored food.

He is naturally athletic as well, and possesses high energy levels, so he's pretty good at playing various sports. Although he has never given it a try, he would more than likely make a fine body guard if needed, as he is rather strong, quick, and not easily intimidated. Despite what few skills he does possess, he is open minded, and always willing to learn more.
  
  Training: Sold into slavery in late childhood, and spent teen years to adulthood training hard in fierce hand to hand combat. Learned skills such as sword fighting, dodging, and archery. Kithara and other hobbies/talents are self taught.

  What are you looking for in a slave/slaver Roleplay: Someone to utilize Valerius for his positive skills and talents, and perhaps even teach him some new and useful skills. It would be ideal to find someone who seeks to utilize his fighting skills. He's a tough guy, after all.
  
  What are your allowances for your character: I'm open to pretty much anything, except for death and severe mutilation (such as loss of limbs and the like). Also, sexual roleplays are alright if it leads to that, but they do not make up the majority of what I rp. I adore storyline much more!

  General Information
  
  Character Description: Mop of soot black curls framed rugged face and stubbled jawline, skin a sunkissed olive from countless years spent beneath blazing sun. Eyes were a piercing chartreuse, flecks of glittering gold complimenting intensity of gaze. He was a battle hardened beast of a man, tall and proportionately muscled, yet inclined to soft speech and calm demeanor. Kindness could occasionally give way to a more bestial nature, however, if excessively provoked. Dressed in a simple white woolen tunic and sandals that tied about calves, the Roman still carried himself with a sense of dignity and pride, regardless of rank.
