Waters

• "No, this is stupid. Why am I even here!" Gaz shouted upward at nothing, voice echoing off some surface beyond the blackness overhead. Her only response was silence. Shuddering, she sank back down again. On bruised knees, she stared down at the ground before her, where her shattered Game Slave lay. Once, it had solved all of life's problems - or at least sheltered her from them. But what lay ahead of her was a great, yawning darkness - and there was nothing to help her through that problem now.

• Appearance

  Gaz is short, scrawny, and clearly in need of medical aid - and a bath.
  
  She wears a skater dress - one that might've once been fairly nice. It has a scoop neck and tank top straps. It appears black, but if one were to look close enough it's clear that it once had a different color. A flower pattern runs from the left sleeve down to the skirt, but it has long since faded. The skirt once rested just above her knee, but has been shredded almost beyond recognition.
  
  Beneath that dress are a pair of faded, dirty purple leggings. They are full of holes and one leg has been ripped to the knee. Her right shoe is missing and the left is a ripped up sneaker with the lace missing. The white rubber tip is now faded gray and looks like it might come apart.
  
  Along her pale skin are cuts and bruises of varying description. She looks a little too pale, and dark circles rest under her eyes. Under one there looks to be some smeared makeup, the remains of whatever she wore before she came. Her hair, also dull purple, is stringy and could use a wash. Chopped in an exaggerated bob, it is now flattened against her skull.
  
  Almond shaped amber eyes seem to exaggerate the hollowness of her features. It's clear she's lost a good bit of weight - but not in a good way. If one were to lift her dress or feel her sides they would feel the exposed ribs, indicating food is difficult to come by (or she has no idea how to).

  "Just... just go away!"
  
  
  She was a dragon without teeth. A god forced to suffer all eternity as a mortal. A rat scurrying in the sewers.
  
  Useless. Homeless.

• Learn

  "Basically. The name has a bunch of meanings. One is 'genetically altered zygote', and that's exactly what I am. Long story short, Dib was born naturally while I was developed in a test tube. Meaning yeah, he's got a foster mother, and I don't.
  It's affected us differently. While Dib was raised 'naturally' I guess, I was kept in solitary confinement and exposed to various stimuli. We both took to scientific endeavors, but I was not so easily amused.
  Raised by a foster mother for the first few years of his life, Dib was weaned and developed a dependency upon human socialization. As for me, I was left alone as I lacked such needs. After I turned five years old, I was brought to the Membrane household to keep my brother company. It was marginally successful.
  Dib and I are related by blood; we share the same father - Professor Membrane. However, we were birthed in different ways. As for our mother, well. Membrane artificially inseminated a volunteer - who is anonymous and not even I know her name. She agreed to carry Dib to term.
  As for me, it's not something Dad has talked about often. He mentioned that the information was classfied. After many attempts to get it out of him, he simply stated that it was very boring and it was a variation of what he did to Dib's "mother".
  So we are at least half-siblings."
