• Biography

  Born from a family of Magi, Victoria Thornton grew up with the Arcane surrounding her. She started her mage training at five learning how to twist and bend fire and ice and eventually at the age of 10 decided to specialize in fire.
  
  When she reached the age of 18 her father, Axel Thornton, decided to go on a quest to find the old Dalaran site in Hillsbrad foothills. Two months after he set off, Victoria and her mother, Nathalie, received word that he was murdered. Victoria set off in search of those who murdered him and in doing so ran across a group of forsaken experimenting on their own kind.
  
  They took her captive, forcing her to drink multiple potions to see the effects they did on her. After a year had passed she was pretty obsequious and ignored.
  
  One day she was visited by a succubus, it was to be her new overseer as the forsaken had gotten bored of her being subservant they now wanted to watch her suffer. The succubus, Ilithyia, whipped her daily for little reason. Ilithyia went too far one day and when she raised her whip to strike Victoria once more, Victoria turned and bit into her arm drawing blood. Ilithyia shocked and outraged took a step back to attack when Victoria lost it.
  
  Victoria laughed and threw fireball after fireball at the forsaken around her and at the Succubi, she felt a flow of euphoria erupt over her skin and down her veins which, when mixed with her anger, made her half crazed with power. She fled shortly after while the encampment burned down, she made her way down to Menethil Harbor where a Dwarven priest, Maldus Thunderbrew, found her and healed her open wounds and paid for a room in the Inn until she was well again.
  
  When she woke up a few weeks later he informed her that he found traces of Fel magic in her and that he knew of a good place for her to utilize her new found Warlock powers. She agreed to go if she could at least visit her mother before hand and inform her of her failure in finding her father's murder.
  
  They traveled down to Darkshire where Victoria's family home was. She knocked on the door and the person who answered wasn't her mother. She learned that she had been away for five years and her mother, in a fit of grief, had hung herself.
  
  Maldus comforted Victoria as best as he could on the way to Northshire, when she signed up for her training she decided to go by the name Viessa Thorne instead to try to put her grief behind her as best she could.

    I finally made it out of Northshire!
    
    Marshall sent me to Goldshire, so now maybe I can truly kick some bandit ass. Stupid warrior followed me the entire time though, whatever. Can't complain too much, he's the first person to stick around this long and he's not too bad for a meat head.
    
    I went to Stormwind today and got a haircut, I went for a longer wavier look. Also met a mage who turned me into a mana wyrm thing, I don't remember much about Stormwind as the last time I was here, Illidan was still a threat but I'm pretty sure there wasn't a huge blasted out part before. Oh well, I got my gold and avoided the priests, maybe next time I'll visit The Slaughtered Lamb.
    
    The best part about the Stormwind visit was, I was able to get away from that damned warrior for a while! The only problem is, I kind of missed his incessant nagging. It was like those annoying noises you hate but you get used to and you feel weird when it's gone.
    
    Oh, and also? I bet him in a duel.

    Ugh, I met this annoying ass warrior today, he called himself 'Argil' and kept claiming to be stronger then me, my ass! So he killed the wolves faster then me, so what? I killed the orc spies faster! I don't know how the Marshall screens people but he really needs to get pickier about them.
