  A rarity indeed, this is no ordinary horse. Unicorns have long been hunted for the magical properties of their horns, and were believed to be extinct. But, one has managed to keep himself hidden from those who wish him harm long enough to have made a new name and identity.
  
  Kai has been a world renowned doctor for many years, but he dares not share his secret to success. Or at least, he had tried for many years to keep such secrets. One patient had found something odd in her medicine one day that could very possibly ruin Kai’s reputation and business. And yet, it wasn’t what one might think from the man. An angry colleague had sabotaged the prescription for his patient, causing her body to fail worse. Kai had no choice but to use something he promised himself he would never do.
  
  He made a house call to his ailing patient, and it was there he revealed his true nature. His patient was surprised to see that the doctor she had trusted for so long was, in fact, a mythological creature.
  
  Kai healed his patient, using dust from his own horn to do so. But once he did, he would have to leave. He couldn’t risk being found out. Thankfully, his patient agreed to keep his secret safe, if to pay the debt for saving her life.
  
  The mythical beast would now have to flee, trying to find himself a new home... new beginnings.
