History

• A Brief History

  Birth:

  Born in Virginia to Jacob and Elizabeth Green. Due to the law drafted by the King, all preternatural creatures born and immigrated must be registered. Slowly, the government is giving slack to were community, considering King Charles the Second's leniency within his own kingdom.

  
  Age Seven:

  Due to the surge of vampire activity, the rise of rogue lycanthropes, and recent death tolls, all preternatural creatures have been given a curfew. Lyndal begins to understand what she is, and how she is seen. She also starts school within a separate, but equal preternatural school environment.

  
  
  Age ten:

  Due to the slowly constricting laws that seek to once again take away the rights of preternatural beings, a revolution is born. It's dangerous to be out during the day time, but more so even during night. The death toll still climbs across the land, and the threat of a war edges into the subconsciousness of the people. Lyndal's first transformation happens.

  
  Age thirteen:

  Because of the revolution, Jacob Greene, originally from West Sussex, relocates his family by ship to England. Given his dabbling within the East India Company and his amassed wealth brought by his high export of cotton, the Greene's could easily afford passage. Rather than returning to Sussex, Jacob settles his family within the heart of London.

  
  Age fifteen:

  Due to the booming sales of cotton, and the resent interest in opium sales, Jacob's wealth triples, and manages to snare the interest of the Earl of Wembley. Monetary troubles saw the Earl needing to marry off his son, Theodore, to an heiress, or at least a women with a healthy dowry to ensure a financial safety net. Interested in the nobility the marriage would bring, Jacob fires Lyndal's tutor, and quickly agrees to the engagement.

  
  Age nineteen:

  The Earl of Wembley dies from consumption, and Theodore is quickly vaulted into Earldom. Having always been a sickly man with a poor constitution, Theodore begins demanding an heir from Lyndal. Despite the lack of love within her marriage, her wifely duty demands that she try, and it doesn't take long for her to become impregnated.

  
  Age twenty-one:

  Lyndal's body rejects it's seventh fetus, and Theodore's anger peaks. Having grown exhausted and tired of the blame and beatings that occur every time she fails to hold a pregnancy, Lyn doesn't stop herself from shifting and killing her husband. With his remains disposed of as any predator would dispose of a meal, Lyndal develops a story in which an assailant broke into their home, injured Lyndal, and made off with her husband. To amount for such gore on the Persian rug within their suite, she assured her face was bruised, her nose broken, the glass of their window thoroughly smashed, and a slug taken to the stomach.

  
  Age twenty-three:

  After her husband's untimely death, Lyndal quickly saw herself from England, exclaiming her inability to remain within a country who couldn't find her husband or her assailant. Widowed early, with no heir to take Theodore's place, the Earl of Wembley is an dormant title, and due to the early infatuation her husband had formed for her, Lyndal ensured the will of her late husband was carried out, and she quickly took charge of the wealth and retreated back to America.

  
  Age twenty five

  Five years after the death of her husband, Lyndal has not only furthered her knowledge of the law, but has also developed a propensity for contracts pertaining to untimely demises. With Virginia seeing to the return of her southern belle styled accent, Lyndal works under the alias of Elizabeth Monroe, and many abused wives or slighted mistresses seek her out. Unfortunately, the sloppy work of a job forces Lyndal from America.
