Born and raised in the British Raj living under the cold hand of colonialism was not an enjoyable experience which Hara likes to recall, escaping a dysfunctional household at a miserably young age he soon found himself indentured financially to a british officer, pressured to act as the man pleased, this went on for more years than Hara ever wished it would, even being dragged to England for the other's amusement and self serving, it culminated in a Setite embrace, to which he immediately chose his 'master' as his first slaughter, insuring every abuse was paid in bloody full. Knowing the law would side with the now beheaded rich man. He was desperate to get out and start a new life.
A man offered to help. A job, sex work, and he'd be paid handsomely, as well as covering medical and immigration fees. He was dubious, but Hara felt little option and took it up, emigrating to America to start anew. Alas, as he had suspected, it turned out to be a mob run brothel. Long hours, threats, and an increasing mountain of debt weighed heavier and heavier on a man starting with nothing to his name and a good portion of his life stolen from him. Hara works achingly long hours with a deliberately cut up salary, leaving him often desperate for even the smallest coin he can earn, trying to pay off the debt and get out for good, no strings or leering criminals on his back. You'll excuse his silence on this, coercion and control run deep. He's seen what trying to wriggle free has done to those near him.
|| Appearance ||
Hara has long black straight hair that goes over his knees, often let loose and cared for immaculately, its often loose or in a messy low bun, he is unhealthily slender with long legs, and prominent bones in his hips, cheek bones and ribs. He commonly dresses in a gender none conforming manner, and more so for his work. Black, blue and purple dresses and lingerie are his go to's with coats and other billowing outfits a preference when off work. He has a few tattoos on his forearms and some on the back and neck. Skin is dark brown, with a slightly grey/ashen overtone. Hazel eyes are often accompanied with painted lids and lashes, and sharp eyeliner. He has a silvery and dulcet voice that he uses to his advantage, its medium in deepness and smooth, calming to listen to.
[Hara passes as male, though has not had top surgery, your character will not likely know he is trans unless it is pointed out or he's naked/in revealng lingerie. ]

Arts of the body and dance come naturally to Hara, he knows numerous forms of dance but specializes in Kalbelia, Ghoomar, Bharatnatyam and more western forms of dancing such as Burlesque, Cabaret and pole dancing. He is extraordinarily flexible. Language wise he knows Hindi, Urdu and English, little bit of Punjabi.
