Sari Khalavathari

Sari Khalavathari ( सऋ खलवथऋ ) is seven feet of pure strength and one look alone will tell you just as much. Sprouting from her head, looking much like a sort of crown, are six long horns that bend upwards towards the sky. Her hair is a light shade of gray and falls down to stop at her shoulders. Her face, of course, is relatively feminine, with powder blue eyes, elegant eyebrows, and soft features that seem jarringly...pleasant compared to the rest of her. Though she doesn't care too highly about her looks; "There are more important things to be concerned about."

Her body looks as if it's been built for hard work with broad shoulders and thick muscle underneath her grey colored skin. She has several scars littering her body, mostly on her arms and torso and her back from training and from her life at sea. She wears them proudly, of course, and never shies away from questions others may ask about them. They're proof of her existence, she says, and proof that she's earned her right to live. She walks with the confidence of someone that knows their place in life and has never once questioned it. Every step calculated and planned down to the very moment, every word firm and unwavering. She's a bold presence that demands to be noticed no matter where she goes and has always been used to her appearance drawing other's eyes. She's never been one to care too much about other's opinions anyways in any fashion, so if they want to stare, then so be it. "More people staring means more know of me, and isn't that the only thing that matters?"

Personality: Some have compared her to a beast, ruthless and cruel with only victory in mind and she won't deny it. She's driven by her thirst for more, for power and knowledge in their vast world. With her crew she's straight to the point and doesn't coddle them. Weaklings and those who hesitate have no place in her ranks. "If you do not listen you will not survive; I'll make sure of it.". That being said, she can be rather persuasive when she knows brute force will not exactly sway the situation in her favor. She's cunning and can be patient, and knows how to twist people around her finger without their knowledge. She's made a living of taking advantage of others' weakness, after all, even some of her own crew. She knows how to lead others on, how to string them along with her plans without much effort at all. Shes tactical, ruthless, and has an unending hunger for power. Much like others of her race she is, quite simply, extremely racist. She has little care for those of other races but can tolerate them, if she must, if they are crew members or someone she finds herself needing to work with.

Deity: While Sari believes in all of the Gods like the rest of her people, she has always felt a pull towards Khayar'l above all else. She has the Goddess' sigil tattooed onto her right shoulder. Her worship practices are usually the simple lighting of candles while meditating, though she does take part in the Nkhya'jran practice of soaking one's fingertips in ink while meditating. The later is one she likes the most, but she doesn't do it too often. Usually this one is done when she is alone and will not be disturbed for a few hours, usually before a new expedition or when she knows she's about to take a fight to someone or some place. This is done mostly to ask her Goddess for the strength she needs to proceed, or to ask the Goddess for guidance. Considering this process tends to stain the skin she doesn't do it for too long, but it is common to see her fingertips dyed black or red from time to time.
