ABOUT SATOMI

Satomi Ito (聡美 伊藤) is a beautiful soul with a love for art and her community. She recently works at her alma mater, Hachi University, as an art and humanities teacher and the Adviser of the Hachi Arts and Design Club. She is also a freelance artist mostly focusing on digital arts, graphic design, and illustration for Comic/Story Books. Satomi also works as an unpaid assistant for her colleague/boss, who she at times gets annoyed with but still cares for. It's just that her boss can be a total "witch" sometimes. It just takes a lot of patience and understanding to tolerate her boss's shenanigans.
As for Satomi's personal life, she lives alone in a small apartment with her pet Yuki -- a beautiful Samoyed. She often takes Yuki on walks early in the morning whenever she does her daily run/jog. If not, she would walk her at the end of the day after work around 6 to 7 PM, and then she would get herself her favorite milk tea drink on the way home.
Satomi is mostly introverted but can be an extrovert when she wants to. She enjoys peaceful days being in her apartment either reading a manga, writing a story, watching a movie, drawing, or just listening to music when not at work. She also loves the rain and snow when she spends her days at home. It just adds up to the peaceful and calm atmosphere.
Lastly, Satomi has no love life at the moment, but so far, being single has been a blast. If the time comes for her to meet someone though, we will see. Will he be the one?

Biography
Education/Teaching Career
Satomi graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. She was a brilliant student who planned to become an animator at one of the biggest animating industries in the world. She could have achieved it with flying colors, but then she decided to put that dream aside. Instead, she chose to become a teacher at her alma mater.
Most of her friends asked her why she didn't continue pursuing her dream career, and why she didn't leave and go abroad like the rest of her fellow graduates. According to her, it was because her beloved HACHI ARTS & DESIGN CLUB needed help. It became a norm where Arts and Design was being undermined and misunderstood by society. That it didn't get the recognition it deserved.
During the time Satomi was a student and even until now, it was already seen that art was an unacknowledged and unrecognized career. Based on many people from her hometown, pursuing Art was useless. It was an unimportant subject -- something that no one can ever benefit from in the future. Thus, she decided to remain at the university to help keep the club alive.
Art has become a part of Satomi's life. She didn't want anyone to take that away from her or the youth who found significance in it. She wanted to help those who wish to take art as a career, especially the ones who aren't lucky enough to afford to go to other universities offering art-related programs. She also wanted to prove that art is not useless and is indeed beneficial to anyone who pursues it.

Weaknesses/Flaws
Satomi is known to be too nice and forgiving towards many people. She doesn't know how to say "no" and stick to it. She cluelessly allows others to step on her like a doormat, manipulating her and making her feel guilty whenever she refuses to make a certain request. She complains about it, but she doesn't know how to stand up for herself sometimes (or all the time), especially if it's towards her boss.
Despite being a nice person in public, her boss can be super manipulative and toxic. Her boss borrows money, steals credit from those who did all the work, and guilt trips people just to let them do what she wants.
Satomi has many reasons to stop working with her boss, but she loved teaching. She didn't want to leave her job just because she can't stand someone who has treated her like trash, which is why one of her other flaws is being stubborn. She is too stubborn to quit sometimes. Even if she does get stressed, she's willing to keep moving forward from where she is. If she can't handle something as simple as her boss, how can she face the rest of the world?
