Beneath the easy-like-Sunday-morning halcyon exterior, he is bursting with energy, constantly in motion with sports and activities, constantly chomping at life's bit with impatient, spit-crackling joie de vivre in his veins; lest he rest on choleric laurels, volleys of hyper-activity and a sharp drop in attention.

He is afflicted with epilepsy. Though medicated he still experiences seizures. He passes it off that he's fallen for Ive.
Passed school by the skin of his nose.
* Tried his hand at criminal psychology. His greatest contribution was drawing many Ted Bundys together as a family in his notes and labelling it 'the Bundy Bunch'.
For someone who is not fond of yelling or aggression, he's not afraid to use it and stand-up when someone he cares for is in danger. Ash has a knee-jerk defence mechanism and protective bull-headedness that can escalate situations and prove counter-productive at best. It often takes people (and him) by surprise to see it.
