Nemora

Growing up a bit of a feral child; abandoned Nermora didn’t even have a name. No family. No home. She lived off the forest best she could from the early age of seven, accidentally stepping on an infant snake and getting bitten in the face as a result. The child would feel guilt, taking the snake with her and doing her best to feed and protect it. But after being bitten; some nerves in Nemora’s face had been severed. She doesn’t express emotions all too much. But when she does, only the left side of her face can really move. She named the little snake responsible Keruma, and had kept her ever since.

Over the years; Nermora gained an interest for many other snakes. Big and small. So she started collecting them. From the most domestic ones to the most venomous- she studied and cared for many of them. Going as far as to breed them to make more. This interest for snakes would also lead her to milking the venomous ones of venom. Which would sound queer without a reason for doing so...

But she did have a reason. As she got bigger and bigger; she would climb trees, and take the risk of fighting larger animals to hunt. Brave enough to even go over a steer. Hunters spotted her one day- seeing her successfully kill a full grown deer with just her bare hands and a blunt knife. And they asked her the strangest thing…If she could kill someone the same way.

Now knives and other sharp objects were too messy and unnecessary for Nermora. Living in isolation; she never developed emotional attachments to anything but her snakes. So, she resorted to using snake venom. To unknowingly poison victims by injecting them with darts of dangerous venom.

She lives in a large clay abode she built by herself. There, she continues to live alone with her many snakes. She even picked up the hobby of creating anti-venom to sell on the road.

While she isn’t academically smart; she’s smart in the wild. Few of words and knowing very little about the cities and towns she's come across to kill targets. She never stayed long enough to want to understand. Never wanted to make friends. After all; the only friends Nemora had were her snakes. Especially Keruma; who is usually founds wrapped around her shoulders.
