Casey Chase was twelve when her father brought home a wild Lillipup which Casey nicknamed Holmes after her favourite book detective. The tiny pup sparked within her a life long love for Pokemon and the two quickly become inseperable as they grew. During her teenage years Casey wanted nothing more than to throw herself into the world to catch and raise Pokemon, a little older than some of her fellow trainers but still as eager and passionate. In her youth she would partake in gym battles and seek out other trainers to build strength and level up her team in an attempt to become the best Pokémon trainer. But as she grew older her love for Pokemon ran deeper than merely battling and chasing glory from elite trainers. Instead she chose to pursue a more academic side of Pokemon training, choosing instead to aid in research and conservation focusing on building her pokedex and improving the lives of those she caught. While she still partook in the odd battle and maintained her team, she veered away from the gyms and the competitive side of it.
Now an adult, Casey was known throughout her hometown for being approachable and easy to talk to when it came to Pokemon and their needs, both herself and Holmes enjoyed teaching perspective young trainers about what to expect and how best to care for the Pokemon they owned. She was often spotted surrounded by her team or diligently scribbling in her notebook about new quirks and behaviours. Not an expert by any means but her passion and desire to learn all there was to know pushed her to keep adventuring out into the wilds, catching new and exciting Pokemon and meeting various other Pokemon enthusiasts and scholars.
