Combat and Game Settings

During combat and scenes that take place in the Mass Effect Universe I will largely apply information as it is found in the games. However, skills and abilities for certain classes can differ per game. (For example, in ME1 an Adept can only use pistols, but in ME2 they can use submachine guns. Biotic abilities also differ, as Stasis suddenly becomes unavailable to Adepts in ME2 and ME3, and so forth.)

Due to these differences I will take some liberty on what they can and cannot do. Tikala is skilled with the pistol and the assault rifle thanks to her training as a commando, even though her Adept class would not allow her to use the assault rifle. I do my best to keep these liberties within reasonable boundaries to avoid overpowering her as a character, but I encourage my partners to also use common sense over strict in-game limitations. It makes for more flexible and more fun gaming.
