  Reyson represents a very particular type of Paladin, a creature built not for retribution, or vengeance, but for the arbiting of Justice and the protection of the weak. In fact, while the best descriptor for Reyson would be that of Paladin, within the D&D 3.5 world, he's closer to a cleric, albeit with some fairly mighty martial capabilities, whose domains are Sun and Healing.
  
  As such, Reyson's offensive capabilities are often curtailed, whether on purpose or not. This means that he's not really one to harm others except in the most extreme of circumstances, and in accordance to his code of conduct.
  
  The code is complicated and long, but the short of it is: Be without fear in the face of your enemies; be brave and upright, that Tyr may love thee; speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death; safeguard the helpless, and do no wrong.
  
  It's Reyson's saint-like adherence to this code that's granted him the rather considerable powers he possesses, a mighty force put on Kasuria to ensure that the weak are not trodden upon without a champion to stand up for them.

  As is apparent, Reyson's talents mostly lie in ridding the world of hurts and driving darkness (literally and figuratively) from the world and its inhabitants.
  
  He does, however, retain rather high affinity with Good and Protection spells, allowing him to cast a mantle of resilience over those who need his help, and this is why he was chosen to be Grandmaster of Tyr's mortal Order, at one point. His familiarity with wards and his disposition for aiding the afflicted made him a fairly non-militant Grandmaster, but one whose period of service will always be remembered for its prosperity and unwavering strength of spirit, as well as arms.
  
  In the domains of Strength and Law, he possesses passable magic, mostly in order to fulfill his role as Arbiter of Tyr's Justice- his spells are mostly calibrated towards holding and extracting the truth from the condemned, either to redeem or damn them, a lesser version of Tyr's Avatars.
  
  In the domains of War and Magic, he retains only a vague knowledge, enough to guide him in the right direction in situations where it's appropriate, but not enough to mount offensives in those spell domains.
