Paixão is a fashion house that has grown in half a decade to include some of the most sought-after corsetry designs in Kasuria. Its pieces represent opulence, splendor and the finer side of life; they accept nothing but the utmost excellence in textiles and materials for their clients, and cater to the wealthy, the affluent, and those looking for a unique piece that will turn any fashionista green with envy.
♕ There are two aspects to the business; there are the more 'easily accessible' items - those of a lower price range, slightly lesser quality, with the ability to be mass-produced and sold to multiple clients if interest is had. The second aspect to the business is its haute couture, which are made-to-measure, exclusive pieces that will be made once, and only once. They are specifically designed for the client, and the designer will work with said client to ensure they are given exactly what they desire. To purchase these pieces, one must essentially be 'invited in' to the house via wealth, connections or favour with the designer. A smart client might buy multiple made-to-measure pieces at the beginning of the season, to ensure they will have all the pieces they might need for the duration of said season. Relationships with the designer are paramount at this point - if they are close to the designer, they may request exclusivity on certain pieces, or if they offer enough money, they can ensure that no one else will have a similar piece as theirs. Prices will range with each piece, but they will most likely not be cheap.
♕ The level of detail on some of the house's more elaborate pieces is almost excruciating. It takes days to sew on each individual gem, bead or stone, and said pieces will need to be commissioned well in advance of events just to be finished by the preferred date.
♕ Multiple fittings are required to ensure the most accurate fit, as well as highest quality of detail to suit the client's desires. Communication with the atelier is a must to ensure all commissioned pieces are exactly what the client wishes for.
♕ Corsets are the top-selling and most prominent wares featured, but included in wares are shapewear - girdles, stays, etc. - and nightwear pieces - teddies, camisoles, nightgowns and more modest ensembles being some of the aforementioned 'standard' items. These can be sold from between 10-60G and are typically made from silk, with lace detailing - though other materials can be considered.
♕ In consideration of the current market and demand, she is also available to design, render and tailor clothing. Keep in mind that these pieces are strictly of the 'haute couture' variety and may not be recommended for those whose lifestyles are more laborious and inclined to working with damaging materials such as labourers, blacksmiths, carpenters and the like. These pieces are for show only and are meant to be worn as stand-alone pieces at events and other important meetings. While she is also capable of creating more 'standard' items (jackets, vests, breeches, etc.), she may need to be convinced to do so, as her available textiles are not often suited for these particular items. It is always best to ask.
♕ Her business card is as simple as her boxing; a plain creme-coloured card embossed with a single golden 'P' - for Paixão, of course - and her room/studio number on the back as a way of contacting her.
