  • Personality: Haughty, arrogant, purposefully intimidating, cunning, brutal. Just a few ways to describe Crosis. However, he also seems to be in the habit of gift-giving and aiding mortals in their times of need. He's a rather confusing beast.

  • Little Notes:: Crosis is entirely unlikable and definitely seems to be untrustworthy. No matter what he says to you, no matter how great the gift he offers, it will always appear that Crosis has some sort of ulterior motive. He's very hard to like, extremely hard to get to know, and even harder to love. He's easily hate-able or to be cast into an Untrustworthy role.

  Natural Abilities
  Ability: Blowtorch
  Description: Crosis is able to call upon a 4 ft long, 8 inch wide burst of flame instantly even while moving or in combat. It can be sustained only for about 3-4 seconds, but is typically used shorter than that. In Low Light areas, it is capable of temporarily blinding someone. (Very mildly, like if you came out of a dark cave and looked directly at the sun.)
  Ability: Fire Breath
  Description: His flames are so hot they're a primarily white bluish-purple. (Around 10,000 degrees Kelvin. 1/3rd the temperature of a bolt of lightning.) Had he been full Red, they would be even hotter. This Breath Weapon is 20ft long, and occupies a space of 180 degrees in front of him. Must be inhaled on the first turn, and exhaled on the second. Sustainable for 5-10 seconds.
  Ability: Steam Breath
  Description: Crosis' quarter silver has been nearly completely overtaken by the Red in him, and thus he is unable to use Ice Breath. He is, however, able to use a very weak version of it to create a cloud of steam. Must inhale on first turn, exhale on second turn to use.

  Ability: Blind Sense
  Description: Dragons have the uncanny ability to see those who are invisible or otherwise hidden from direct view. This is accomplished by disturbances in in the air, vibrations, hearing and scent. The dragon can sense anything in it's immediate vicinity, and things like magical fog, darkness or other things that obscure it's eyes are pretty much useless.
  Ability: Detect Evil
  Description: Crosis' tongue is a fascinating organ. While he's not able to detect beings traditionally associated with evil via magical means, he is able to taste them. (Vampires, Undead, Werewolves, Demons, etc.) Detecting whether someone is a certain (traditionally associated with) evil creature is a trivial matter for a beast as old as Crosis.
  Ability: Detect Supernatural
  Description: This is an innate sense, unlike his tongue that can detect evil. Crosis has encountered many supernatural entities in his life, has written books on them, and read many more. With a glance, Crosis can tell if a creature is half-Shadow Elemental, or Half-Demon, etc. However, he fails to detect any creatures with a close connection to the earth. Elves, Dwarves, Dryads, Nyads, any sort of creature with a very near to the Earth elemental connection, Crosis barely detects until he sees them. These are the types of creatures he fears the most, as they are the ones who are able to "get the drop on him" so to speak. He can still smell/taste them with his tongue, but I must put something into a post about him flicking his tongue to taste the air to detect you like he would anyone else. If I do not put anything about Crosis' tongue coming out of his mouth in a post and you're not readily visible, it's highly likely that he won't detect your presence. (I.E Fae, Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, etc.)
  
  Magical Abilities:
  Ability: Elemental Infusion
  Description: Crosis is able to use the element of Fire in his attacks. This is extremely rare for him to show off this ability, as Crosis doesn't want people to know he's capable of it. (I.E, he can superheat his claws and tail-bones to extremely hot levels, or dig the sharp claws into an unarmored person's body and burn an organ. It has an innumerable number of uses, but is not magic and merely natural Can be used to cauterize wounds. Not on himself, though, as he is immune to fire. Even his own.)
  
  Firewater: Crosis wears only a belt, but it is rather thick and has many satchels attached to it. There is a gourd at his waist filled with incredibly potent alcohol. Crosis can drink 5 gallons of 8-12% Mead and barely get drunk. The stuff he carries around is -POTENT-. Not only can it be used to get an ancient dragon drunk, it can also be used to magnify the effects of fire exponentially. Don't get it on you! (It burns very fast, but very hot. Like any alcohol. Non-magical, just like...98.7% Alcohol. )
  
  Draconic Hoarder: (ASK ME ABOUT MY ARTIFACTS!) As a (Red) dragon, Crosis has acquired vast material wealth in the form of gold, gems, and other such treasures. In addition to these, however, he has a vast collection of arms and armor of incredibly varying magical properties. Some of which, generally the most powerful, he even helped to make. Some items that he had found or stolen off the bodies of his foes he didn't have anything to do with the making of at all, and were even more powerful than he could himself ever hope to fully comprehend the uses for. This includes the weapons, trinkets, armor, staffs, etc of everyone he's ever felled in combat. His greed is the stuff of legend, rumors abound about literal mountains of gold and gems in his hordes. Elaborate show-rooms, and entire clans of Bugges that clean them all to keep them from getting dusty. Occasionally he parts with one of his lesser creations, being a Forgemaster himself. The weapons are paltry and powerless to him, but to those he gives them to they are priceless. (Think...+4 and +5 Weapons, all day long. Non-magical, usually. He doesn't hand over his greatest prizes very easily.) (All weapons are stored in a cache in Northern Kasuria, as iron/steel/adamantium/mithril (Any war metal) turns to dust in Drakoria. All Gold/Gems/Other are stored in his stronghold, Ithalak.)

  Red Dragon - When legends, fairy tales, and fables speak of dragons without specifying a color—when they tell of kingdoms laid waste, virtuous maidens sacrificed, and valiant heroes sent home as charred corpses— odds are that they speak of the mighty red dragons. Also called flame dragons, fire wyrms, and mountain dragons, these horrific beasts epitomize the iconic dragon traits. All dragons are predators, but reds are the most voracious, consuming far more than they require. All dragons are greedy, but reds are avaricious beyond any point of reason, for they fully believe that all wealth belongs to those strong enough to take it (and no amount of wealth is ever enough). All dragons are prideful, but reds are arrogant in the extreme. They see themselves as the pinnacle of draconic perfection.
  
  Red dragons never forgive even the smallest slights. They kill over territorial intrusion, over the tiniest theft from their hoard, over an insult, or because they want to. These great beasts take satisfaction wherever and however they can get it. A red dragon unable to slay a person who offends it will go on a rampage, wreaking havoc and destruction upon any nearby communities. Only enormous monetary tributes can sate the legendary rage of a red dragon; only blood can cool and drown that rage.
  
  Red dragons are not mindlessly violent, however. Accomplished strategists, they spend their time developing vast arrays of tactics for use in every conceivable combat scenario. They recognize the hazards in attacking more potent foes—rare though such foes might be. They back down from fights they do not believe they can win, though doing so wounds their pride to the bone.
  
  A humanoid community that borders on a red dragon’s territory can sometimes forestall the beast’s wrath by offering frequent tribute in the form of treasure and tasty young adults. Some red dragons enjoy the power in ruling communities of lesser creatures, but unlike green dragons, who do so by subtlety and intrigue, reds demand obedience and slaughter all who fail to comply. Red dragons take interest in news of the world beyond their territories, in part so they know how their status compares to that of other reds. They might threaten homes and families in order to force humanoids to travel into the wild and obtain news. Most such unwilling messengers do not survive to return, but red dragons have no qualms about that turn of events. Humanoids are a renewable resource. Like most dragons, reds can survive on almost anything but prefer meat. More than any other variety of dragon, though, red dragons hate to eat anything else. Some starve themselves nearly to death rather than consume plants or inorganic matter. They eat any animals: humanoids, wild beasts, and even other dragons—the younger, the better. Their preference for tender meats gave rise to legends of dragons kidnapping young people.
  
  Reds fight equally well on land or in the air. They relish melee combat as an opportunity to showcase their superior strength. A red dragon never hesitates to use its breath weapon, though, when the need presents itself. It would rather reduce any possible treasure or magic items to ash than allow the bearers of those items to best it in combat: The dragon’s pride overpowers its avarice.
  
  Although red dragons might refrain from attacking enemies that seem too strong, reds never retreat from combat once any combatant sheds blood. Due to their hubris, red dragons fight to the death more than any other kind of chromatic dragon, even when they have the option to escape. Crosis, however, is an exception to this rule of Red Dragons. If he encounters himself in a situation where he knows he will die, he will fight as long as he can. If escape is an option, however, he will take it. Unfortunately for any opponent who allows him to escape, he will return to Drakoria and collect a number of magical artifacts and weapons tailored to his enemy's demise, and hold a great upper-hand in the next battle. Never fight Crosis twice.
  
  25% Silver Dragon
  
  Silver Dragon - Silver dragons (aka "shield dragons") are the second most powerful of the metallic dragons, and are true friends to all. The silver dragon enjoys the company of humans and elves so much that it will often take the form of a human or elf and live among them for the majority of its life. It should be noted that silvers, like all dragons, believe themselves the most superior creatures in the world. However, apart from the ability to fly, which they enjoy greatly, they tend to prefer the physical forms of humanoids for everyday life. Crosis seems to have this instinct, as he generally resembles and takes the form of a Winged Wyrmme rather than an actual dragon. Understandably, as old as Crosis is, his real form is not exactly practical for everyday use, being...absolutely gigantic and all.
  
  Silver dragons are the knights-errant of dragonkind–fierce champions of great causes. Good silvers defend innocents, assure the prosperity of civilized kingdoms, and protect and nurture noble families and young heroes. Evil silvers are rare in the extreme; those that do exist serve tyrants, guard temples of evil deities, or attempt to use evil artifacts to reshape the world.
  
  To a silver dragon, honor means more than life. Silvers choose silence over lies and keep their word, even when doing so places them in opposition against creatures of their alignment. For example, a good-aligned silver dragon sworn to guard an oracle from all intruders discourages any adventurers from consulting the oracle, regardless of their reason, and attempts to destroy those who disregard the warning– after offering them the option to retreat. The Silver Dragon (Dungeons & Dragons) is a type of dragon in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. It is a metallic dragon. Silver dragons embody all that is honorable about dragonkind. Good silver dragons protect weaker creatures. The few silvers that turn to evil maintain their honor and reputation; they do not slaughter unworthy foes or engage in acts of petty malice.
  
  How they mix
  
  Both Red and Silver Lineage: How it happened, none really know. Crosis is considered an abomination by Silver Dragons, as they have an intense hatred of Red Dragons, and similarly Reds hate Silvers. Crosis has a lot of internal conflict as a result, two sides of him constantly swaying him from Evil to Good on a moment's notice. The Red is notably more prominent in him with his arrogant, haughty personality. However, the Silver sort of...cools him around the edges. In his younger days, Crosis was known as a fierce General and Conqueror. His lust for blood and battle was the stuff of legend. Thousands of lives ended by his hands, and kingdoms saw their stone keeps melted to slag, fields burned and all slaughtered.
  
  As he got older, the more noble traits of the Silver began to show themselves. He began to have moral qualms with slaughtering innocents, or women and children where he never had before. He began to dwell among furres, even disguising himself as a weak old grey-haired feline who could only walk with the aide of a staff for nearly a thousand years. He has since become an incredibly complicated enigma; At one moment he will behead someone for the slightest insult, another time he might thank them for the criticism. He's very unpredictable, and it seems that the only being in this world or any other he will listen to is his Father, James Darkarma.
• Weapons
  
  Crosis rarely uses weapons, as he is primarily a hand-to-hand fighter. Not only that, but in Drakoria where his Stronghold is and where he spends most of his time, all metal turns to dust. All of the metal weapons he's collected over the years are built and stored in Kasurian caches, most of them buried deep underground. That said, there are Two that he considers noteworthy.
  
  The Spear of the Fire Wyrm:
  
  
  Crosis made this weapon himself, and is his most commonly used weapon if he is ever to use one. He considers it his finest work as a Blacksmith, having enlisted the help of a local tower of mages with the use of vast riches to make a circle around him and work magic as he carved it into existence. Every ounce of magic poured into it was to enhance it's Piercing and Slashing quality, and it's ability to never dull. It is also incredibly resistant to heat, and can be risen to a temperature far above it's normal melting point. Even a child could easily slide it through a diamond like a hot knife through butter when heated to it's maximum capacity. (Takes 3 turns, can be done in combat while moving and fighting.). Crosis' dragonbone claws might be capable of such a thing, but they weren't 16 inch long blades. Crosis is also capable of transferring the flames from his mouth into the dragon's mouth on the blade, but this results in it being 1/2 as effective.
  
  The Sword of Lies:
  
  
  
  This cursed blade is never used, but it is by far the most powerful weapon Crosis has ever encountered. It was not created by him, but rather gifted to him by the Creator of Wyrmmes, Dyarr/Dyanna him/herself. Crosis knows next to nothing about the blade, save that it is most assuredly Evil. Whenever he touches it, whispers from another plane are fed into his mind. As a result, he's set it inside the pocket-plane of the Library of Lies and has it guarded by Minotaurs, Undead, and even lesser dragons whos lives he's spared in return for them guarding it. Crosis doesn't see a point for it's use in combat, as it tends to behave like any other sword when wielded besides the fact that it is unnaturally and excessively heavy. He knows it holds a great power, but he has yet to unlock it and very well may never will.
  
  
  Disclaimer and Post Word
  
  I realize Crosis seems quite strong as a character, but it is never my intention to make anyone have an unenjoyable experience with him. That said, I really do not like to fight with him. A being that is capable of throwing a fist through plate armor, or slapping someone half a mile away with their tail is not fun to engage in a fighting RP with. So, for the most part, Crosis will not be used as a character that engages in altercations with PC's. NPCs are fair game. On the Isle of Etla, at least, Crosis will refuse to engage with most characters, even if things get tense. He's more likely to walk out fuming, or bust up an inanimate object. They are, after all, citizens of his father's Kingdom, and he doesn't exactly want to ruin his or his own reputation by wantonly slaughtering everyone who slights him.
  
  Thank The Gods he's a quarter Silver.
  
  But don't think for a second that Crosis is unbeatable. His greatest weakness is magic. He has literally zero defences against it aside from his Enchanted Bracer. When that defense is gone, he's essentially powerless against (strong) magic. Crosis' strength is that he is very physical, and very much an excellent fighter. 1,000 undead? No problem. 1 Lich? Crosis flees if the Lich is prepared enough. He can deal with minor Destructive Spells, but anything more than 3 preps? He ain't fuckin' with no damn magic.
