• Background

  Korr was once a normal family man who earned his living by searching through abandoned mines, ruins, and caves and selling whatever rare gems, metals, or artifacts he came upon. He had a loving wife Frejorn and a Beautiful four year old daughter, Sifen. They never had much, but whenever they came upon money they lived like kings. Korr would spend all of his money of extravagant feasts that he would share with all of those around him. They always moved from place to place never staying in one place for too long. Whenever they didn't have money Korr would hunt for food and build small encampments from the area around him. He picked up many survivalist traits in his youth, hes been on his own since he was twelve.
  
  One day on a seemingly random dive into a gem covered cave he felt something, something that made him want to go deeper. Korr had already got what he came for, as many gems as he could carry. But he felt something almost a primal urge, He needed to go down there. As Korr reached the bottom of the ravine he found mounds of gold taller than he was in every direction for as long as he could see. Korr didn't care about this treasure he could still feel this need to go forward. As he ventured on he came upon a pedestal surrounded by the largest pile of gold and huge gems with a golden helmet resting upon it. As he got closer more and more voices began to fill his head with incoherent whispers. Korr almost didn't notice as he was drawn to this crown like a moth to a flame. As Korr finally layed his hands on the crown all at once the voices stopped and he was himself no more. He was a changed man, a beserker.
