• A History in Brief

  Born on the colony world of Thokka Prime, Saka'kah was born the second child of her Home Vanguard's Second Admiral and his first spouse - a lieutenant within the Armada that recently earned acceptance into his Host by way of a trial by combat. As per tradition, Saka'kah was trained upon finishing basic education in order to follow in the Host's legacy. As all Hosts are traditionally assigned to a specific set of duties (in this case, Host Kreein had been purchased by the Thokkan's Vanguard Armada and assigned to maintaining and captaining their ships.), all but the specifics were chosen for her. Ever one for the unorthodox method, Saka'kah assigned herself to the Disciplines of Ska'rah, a sect within the Vanguard dedicated to infiltration, disrupting the operations of the Sans'karian's enemies and attacking from within enemy territory. Equipped with a standard issue Vanguard Stealth Suit, she served for six years, twarting several attempted rebellions by various political Hosts and aiding in the sabotage of a multitude of the ships used by her people's enemies.
  
  Unfortunately her missions often lead to long periods of solitude or communications blackouts that kept her from reaching her Host. In time this lead to her growing distant from them and bonding more with her fellow Disciplines, who found some reasonable comfort in her vain attempts to impress. It was her nature combined with a peculiar bloodlust that inevitably lead to not only the downfall of herself - but her entire Host. One assignment saw her and three others being sent in to execute the Matriarch of Host Ksash, whom had been working to undermine the ruling Host of Thokka Prime and win the loyalty of the people. All politics to her. Her people were all about these.
  
  Unfortunately the simple task of killing one unarmed person was far from enough for her. In an attempt to 'hold off the guards' whilst her companions escaped, Saka'kah had decapitated the oldest son of the ruling Host's Matriarch, whom had visited Host Ksash in secret to try coming to a profitable trade agreement in exchange for their loyalty. Not helping the case of her murdering a key political figure within her world's government, she also plucked the crest feathers off his decapitated head as part of the Disciples' ritual humiliation. Unintentional as it was, the message was clear. The ultimate insult had been paid to the ruling Host. And they were not going to let this humiliation go unpunished.
  
  Returning back home was never easy. But now it was going to be far more painful for the proud sneak to gloat about her achievements to her Host when half had been wiped out. To add insult to injury, she and the remaining survivors were effectively stripped of their ranks and banished from their species' home sector. Now essentially outcast, the future seemed strangely bright to Saka'kah. On one hand , her kin had met a nasty little end...but such things, as she'd learned, were commonplace for her people.
  
  Free from the shackles of manipulative duty she no longer had to follow their suffocating regulations in order to earn her living. Filled with a sense of freedom, she commandeered her assigned fighter and set course elsewhere in the universe. Bound for the unknown, she set off - free to attain the three things that truly made a Sans'karian whole. Victory. Fortune. Power.

• Personality

  Stout of will and sometimes a little too proud for her own good - Saka'kah is often times a little bit on the extreme side. Moderation is rarely something she takes into account in her personal life. Why simply cook when you can cook and practice your aim at the same time? Why use two guns? Find a way to use a third! Casual clothing? Throw as many colours on it as possible. Although surprisingly, she seems to be able to suppress some of this latent self-indulgence when duty comes into question. Pride and bombast does not mean a lack of respect. She understands when someone is her superior and enjoys when that is proven. She has a great deal of respect for displays of strength and finds herself enamoured with immense skill.
  
  Another pleasant aspect of her personality is her tendency to want to lighten things up. She never finds herself below making crude jokes or acting a little childish with the right company. Although letting people's guard down can often times work to her advantage, she finds herself at ease when others are at ease. Otherwise it really ruffles her feathers. Typical of her race - she can be fiercely protective of her assets and very quick to point out when she believes she is being mistreated or underpayed...even if it is a blatant lie. Lying - after all - is the Sans'karian dish of the day. Deception is a large part of their culture and thus keeping a pokerface can be easy for her.
