    Kasa is a native in the Umomi tribe, an isolated and peaceful nation, located in a mountainous region. Orphaned since she was young, the tribe, elders, and spirits have all helped raise her. She has learned valuable skills growing up in the Umomi tribe, such as extreme swimming, living off the land, weapon making, tree climbing, and knowledge of all plants around her. As she turns 17 she notices bizarre changes occurring;nightmares, flashes of wolf-like behavior, and brown wolf ears and tail. Suddenly before she is able to get answers from the elders about her strange changes the tribe is mysteriously attacked, separating Kasa from them. She is only left with a blade given to her by an animal spirit the night before. Her naivety and inexperience outside the tribe can hurt her but Kasa is determined to find her way home.
