• Biography

  Ayla is the 'guardian' of a small modern family Fukudo, having taken up the guardian mantel officially from her father a hundred years ago or so.
  
  Ayla was 'created' around the early 16th century.
  
  At the time she was given less 'important' missions, such as checking on each family member as they slept- despite there already being a komainu in the individual's rooms.
  She was allowed to follow the younger Fukudo son when he began sneaking out of the fortress. The other komainu thought this wasn't important or seemed to know better than she. Still, it was good practice for abilities.
  The other komainu were correct, as the son had been sneaking out to visit the woman he was in love with and Ayla got more than she bargained for, with less adventure.

  Ayla followed the youngest child of the Fukudo family for several centuries, keeping them from serious harm, though there were several close calls.

  Sometimes, she appears to the children of the family as a 'imaginary friend' before they grow out of that stage.
  
  When they get old enough to stop believing in imaginary friends, she usually keeps to the ethereal form or the form of a house cat.

  -Modern times-
  
  She took the youngest son (Baiko) of the family as her main ward, doing small things- like making sure his alarm wakes him up for school when he forgot to plug it back in or sticking his report sitting in the printer in his backpack before he races off to school.
  Outside of gaming, Baiko took to wandering outside of the city, visiting old ruins of places in his free time, especially ones that were gated off.
  The young guardian took great interest in the video game characters of the boy's favorite games, changing her clothing style to something of a similar sort.
  
  Ayla spends most of the time following Baiko around to keep an eye on him. She generally does this in the form of a common house cat. Although sometimes she takes to the form of human.
