• About Dabien:

  Dabien Achard was raised in the inhospitable north in a small, clannish tribe that lived on the tundras. To avoid freezing to death, the art of pyromancy was taught at a very young age, and is still done so to this day.
  
  She is afflicted with a skin condition known as vitiligo, where patches of her skin contain no melanin, making them distinctly and naturally lighter. This natural spotting occurs at random on her face and body in large patches. It appears in patches on her arms and legs as well, though they are typically covered. Her hair is dark and kept short and scruffy, though she's feminine enough to not be mistaken for male.
  
  Dabien herself is quite kindly, often resembling a stern mother to her patients and a calm, collected doctor to their friends and family. She specializes in healing and defensive magic, though she knows much about pyromancy from growing up in the northern tundras. However, she does have a reputation following her about, one that guarantees her safe passage for the most part. With her odd appearance, she is almost unmistakable, and has been known to latch onto groups or strong-looking individuals if she feels threatened by a place, offering her services in magic as payment. However, she knows to keep herself in business by not teaching her most powerful spells. Dabien is factionless and a wanderer, often drifting from group to individual to group as she is needed.
  
  Dabien's surname means 'North' in her native language. She didn't grow up with a surname, and added it on herself later.
