    Wachita is the daughter of a chieftain of a dominant pack within the area; she is seen as the next chieftess-in-training and must maintain herself as such. Unfortunately for her father, the girl is quite curious and has been watching the humans from the confines of her territory. With a sudden burst of confidence, the princess leaves her pack in hopes that she would be welcomed in the unfamiliar territory. Long story short; people don't take kindly to a giant wolf who only wants to be friends with all these new faces. She's caught by the dog catcher (go figure) and is thrown into the prison overnight. Wachita shifts into a human form half-way through the night, hoping that maybe they'll let the human out of the dog prison... Thankfully, she's rescued from a young man who seems around the same age as her, although she's exhausted from fear. He's given a choice; save the weird dog girl or let her be killed or experimented on. He has a good heart; in short, he hustles the drowsy girl to his apartment and throws her in the second room. The next day, he realizes he can't leave this unfamiliar wolf chick sitting in his home, so he takes her to college in her wolf form, introducing her as his weird new overgrown dog. She decides then that she would like to join him in school and attempt to lead a human life!
