About the Character

Konnichiwa, minna-san! Watashi wa Hibari Haru desu. Hajimemashita!
Hibari Haru (ひばり 春) is just your ordinary high school student facing usual everyday challenges. She is the student body's secretary and a part-time waitress at Amami Maid Cafe. It is a small coffee shop located just a few blocks away from her school, Yūrei High.
Hibari has two siblings--Li, the eldest who is currently living alone and working as a salesperson at a cosmetics company, and Junto, the youngest who loves to play with his X-box and pet spider. After her older sister moved out due to working distance and since both her parents work abroad, Hibari took the position of taking care of the house--cooking, cleaning, doing the laundry--and watching over her younger brother.
Hibari is known to be quite clumsy, timid and a little weird, but not as weird as her best friend Sora. She tries to work very hard in life especially for the well-being of her brother. Hibari can also be a bit insecure and pessimistic towards her own appearance and personality, but when it comes to other people--strangers, acquaintances, her friends, and family--she always tries her best to help them. Without realizing it, Hibari actually cares more about other people than herself.
