• Gospel of the Holy Man

  Dragon lore tells of a Dovsivaas (literally, Dragon-Beast) whose love and fear of the Gods were second to none. This creature was a mortal, one who walked the earth with all manner of creature and beast, whose life had a beginning and end as all mortals do. This Dovsivaas devoted his life to protecting the weak, defending the innocent, and aiding the unfortunate without regard to race, social status, or even the victim's own moral circumstance. He spread the teachings and values of his gods to any that needed their guidance and sought salvation through them, helping them to become strong and virtuous as he was. Thus he earned his name, Faal Vohlok: The Guardian. When he died, he had earned such love and respect from the Gods he worshiped that they took his soul to the heavens and gave it new form as a divine power. In this way, he could live on to aid those that seek to follow in his example, coming to them as a divine reward for a life of peerless faith and steadfastness.
  
  The codes of conduct and ethics making up draconian faith and lore are lengthy and complex, but there is reward for those willing to devote their life to it. By acting with selfless virtue and adhering to the complex and lengthy codes of ethics and conduct passed down through draconian religion and lore, it is believed by Aalzindo and his Order that this spirit, this divine power now known as Kun do Faal Vohlok (The Light of The Guardian) will enter them. This will lead to an attainment of greater power, wisdom, and strength.

• Secrets of the Holy Man

  Aalzindo is also a Dovsivaas, born to two members of Kun do Faal Vohlok. As such, he was raised by the order, brought up with it's teachings and lessons to prepare him as the next generation and successor of the order. He was an eager whelp, especially taken with the stories of great men before him, of gods and punishments and rewards. He quickly began to outshine his peers, eventually earning his place as a priest of the order. He was a shining example of the order, eager to teach and demonstrate his faith to all just as he had been taught by his elders. After some time, he announced a decision to leave the territory they all called home, captivated by the stories of his order's namesake. Choosing to follow in Faal Vohlok's footsteps, Aalzindo set out into the world to offer religious wisdom and protection to the lands beyond.
  
  With age and experience comes it's own teachings, those of how the world really looks outside the protection and shelter of devout faith. Rampant sin and faithlessness permeates the world, and little by little, just under the surface, there bubbled up a darkness in Aalzindo that the Kun can and would not ever penetrate. Blessed and cursed with long life, this was not a fast, or even perceptible process. It is not his fault, for this is simply his nature; religion's enemy has always been intelligence and free thought, the apple offered to Eve. Some choose to take the bite, and some do not. For Aalzindo, the nectar of that fruit was sweet and tempting, and his tongue never did forget it's taste.
  
  To this day, he still carries himself as a proud priest of Kun do Faal Vohlok. For all intents and purposes, he remains a steadfast practitioner of faith, doing his best to ignore and push down the terrible temptations lurking in the darkness of his mind. But he is just a man, after all, and he is not deaf to their call.
