Brennon grew up in a traditional Asian family, and as the only child and as a male, a lot was expected from him from the get-go. He never really seemed bothered by it or complained. To tell the truth, he never really had the best relationship with his parents. They were quite snobby and always seemed to try to make his choices for him, but as mentioned before he never really complained, because he honestly thought every parent was like that when he was a child. Therefore it was also a big shock to him once he found friends who told him that it was definitietly not normal, and that it was just his parents who were like that. This made him realise some things about his family situation and himself, and that he wasn't going to become their pet. Even though he is still to this day pretty loyal to them, he still does certain things that he would never tell them, or else they would get extremely mad at him.
His parents are also rich and therefore he grew up with a lot of money. They even have their own beach house that they said he would one great day be allowed to have, and maybe even have with someone else. His parents have always wanted him to find a woman and get married and have kids. But...what if that is not what Brennon wants? He is not sure about anything yet and have a few exes, but not many. He has always been seen as the more reserved kind of guy who only stuck with certain people, and he has already found those people, who he now calls friends.
His mother and father are owners of many Asian restaurants and therefore they earned well on them. As a child Brennon was brought with them to work to taste the foods and experience the nice atmosphere, and meet a lot of new people. One of these people from the restaurant was a worker there, a man in his 30's who he liked to play with, and sometimes he was even allowed to help. He found himself trusting the man and felt comfortable around him. It was safe to say he almost became like an uncle to the little ten year old boy.
However, Brennon was not old enough to see through his actions, but who could? The man hid it well and pretended he was a good person, someone close to the family who they could trust. But they couldn't. One day after work his parents were busy and left him with the male worker at the restaurant to help pack everything up for the day. That was when the man dragged Brennon into one of the back rooms, held him to the floor, and molested him. It was horrible and Brennon felt like he was being choked, not wanting to live through this a moment longer.
When his parents returned they of course wondered why their child hadn't been followed home, but they got their answer once they went back to the restaurant and found their child tied up in that back room without any sight of the man, but it was still clear what he had done to the poor boy. The man was wanted in the news since they contacted the police, but never found.
It didn't help that his parents told him to never get near a man again and said that "they were dangerous". This gave Brennon a fear of being alone with men and being near men. Even being in a locker room basically naked scared the daylights outta him. His parents didn't handle everything after the horrible tragedy well and Brennon has taken damage from it all.
Today he studies echonomics and cooks on the side. Not that he would ever admit it, but he's actually a really good cook and enjoys cooking, yet because of his parents he decided to study echonomics as that seemed like a more "secure" option in life to achieve careers with. He is a sweet man who does have a temper, and dosen't mind punching someone when needed to, yet he always feels guilty after doing it. He dosen't want to be bad and lie, yet he does so often because he feels like he needs to. After all, being fake is what he is good at. Still he is very much a charmer and can charm basically the coldest soul in the world using those chocolate puppy eyes of his, and his smile is the most precious thing to ever be seen. Sadly it can take a while to see it in person, and to see it being real and not a facade he's trying to put up to push people away from being too close to him.
People are often really dense when it comes to reading his true intentions and see who he is as a person, his true personality and feelings. They just assume what he does is what he truly thinks and feels, and that's it. Which makes sense, but with Brennon you do have to look between the lines and read what is there, and then it will be right in front of your nose, ready to read and respond to as you please. But even though Brennon can be a mystery sometimes, he's also a sweetheart who is loyal to someone once he's sure that they are a good person and will do him right.
