    DISCLAIMER:
    Superhuman abilities of the alters are extensions of their personalities in my novel. In modern/realistic stories, they are just quirks or talents.
    Baza becomes more animalistic, trading Damon's human intelligence and moral sense for muscle. His muscle mass triples and keratin (hair, nails, teeth) thicken and lengthen, giving him unparalleled primitive strength. Like a cat at night, the blacks of his pupils dilate to the point no other color is seen in his eyes. Despite his huge muscles, his predatory instinct gives him great speed and agility. Any time Mikah or Damon is in physical danger, he'll transition to eliminate the threat.
    Canaan's complete apathy to physical and emotional harm took away his own active abilities, so instead he 'borrows' the talents of the other alters, though not to their full extent. As Damon's first friend, he believes he's entitled to the body anytime. Despite his fearless, sadistic facade he's terrified of Baza. His biggest triggers are blood, paranoia, and Damon's mother.
    As a mother figure, Ana can persuade people to confess and act upon their innermost desires. She can also anticipate her target's next move in any situation, making them open books for her. In spite being in a man's body, she still manages to come off as a seductress instead of a crossdresser.
    Mikah, on the other hand, can compel others to do his bidding. People are completely honest with him as if they want to play 20 Questions with him. He's the innocent, playful childhood Damon could never have.
