BACKSTORY
Amaris was born at sea but when a massive storm hit where the pod was stationed for the night, Myra, Amaris's aunt, took her niece from Lillian and Azarith to find a safe place sheltered from the crippling waves. The rest of the pod were fine because they were all fully grown. Myra placed baby Amaris into a boat basket so she could take a rest from the long swim, fighting against the storm and miles away from the pod. Myra felt her energy slipping from her as she slowly submerged below the waves. Myra drowned trying to save Princess Amaris, the boat she was on started to move and when the humans reached shore they found the baby.
Amaris was taken into a few families and then into foster care. Knowing she was different from all the other children she kept to herself.. On her 16th birthday the foster care she was staying in tried to make it a good day for her but in spite a few kids who despise Amaris bashed her cake with bats and pushed her down the stairs. She was called freak among other names. On her 18th birthday she ran away from the Foster system located in NC along with a bag of things she collected over the years. She found herself some money and got a bus ticket to Canada. Something was drawing her to the ocean.
Once she got there she found herself walking along the beach, it never occurred to her that she got off the bus leaving her things behind. The only thing that held her attention was the serenity of the sea.
Then as if from a dream or a dream of a dream her moonstone pendant started to glow brightly, she found herself walking into the water and as she got deeper she began to paddle out towards the deeper ends.
Not afraid or scared of sharks like she had seen in pictures she then took a breath and dove down into the blue serene. A burst of light swirled around her body and her legs shifted to the tail of a female orca whale. Brown hair changed to blue and her top dissolved into a matching top to her tail.
As she reveled in memories she was accompanied by two familiar faces. Her mother and father greeted her with hugs and tears. Queen Lillian bestowed Amaris her crown and placed it onto her head.
Amaris now 27 years old lives in harmony with her pod and has mastered shapeshifing to a Orca whale in full form.
She mostly uses such power to hide from monster hunters and blend in with sailors. On her 26th birthday her parents gifted her with a female Vaporeon she named Atlantis.
The two are inseparable. ~
