❧Of Dragon and Elf

Mihris is a Reaver; one of the first to ever exist.

They are best known for turning pain into a weapon, dealing more damage the more they are injured, and becoming a nigh unstoppable force on the battlefield.

Reavers have learned to channel blood magic internally, making them terrifying and deadly warriors.

To become a Reaver, one must take part in an arcane ritual where the would-be Reaver drinks the blood of a dragon or similar beast such as a wyvern.

The ritual grants the power to draw strength from pain and death. The nature of the Reavers means that few truly heroic individuals seek to join their ranks, though desperate times sometimes will push someone to take up the role of Reaver to fight some darker, insurmountable power.

Due to its connections to blood magic, becoming a Reaver incurs the risk of being corrupted by demonic forces.


❧The Past

Before aiding Fen'harel in the liberation of the people and sealing away the Evanuris, Mihris served Falon'din; she was slave, knight, guardian and confidant.

Under his guidance Mihris became a highly skilled warrior. Unmatched in many aspects of combat and warfare.

Turning her from his service was no easy task. She had served her master for so long, Mihris saw no other path. Because in life and death, all paths lead to Falon'din.

The blood of those who wouldn't bow low filled lakes as wide as oceans. Mythal rallied the gods, once the shadow of Falon'Din's hunger stretched across her own people. It was almost too late. Falon'Din only surrendered when his brethren bloodied him in his own temple." - Solas

❧The Fall

Eventually, Fen'harel turned Mihris to his cause where she aided in the liberation of many of their people. She was even trusted enough to stand guard as he lifted the veil at Tarasyl'an Te'las "the place where the sky was held back", which is currently known as Skyhold.

After which, Fen'harel disappeared.

Soon after, Mihris was covering a group of liberated elves as they escaped to safety, as skirmishes still occurred between the remaining worshipping forces and the liberated.

It was during this skirmish that she was struck by powerful magic and turned to stone.

And thereafter she was lost to history.


❧Awakened

After the destruction of Vigils Keep, the Warden Commander was informed of the discovery of what appeared to be an old elven temple where they had been digging to lay new foundation stones.

By then it was ruinous, and only a few chambers remained.

In one of the chambers (this one untouched through the ages) with the original doors still in tact and sealed, there stood a statue of an Elvhen woman.

When the seals broke, so too did the magic that bound her in stone. It fractured and crumbled away, giving Mihris her freedom once more.
