• A Heart is a Heavy Burden

  
  Lystrange - My former husband, he danced with me through the darkness in my life and lit my evening's sky with a brilliancy that I shall never forget. He was my everything, and his death bathed my soul in a reckless addiction to violence and vengeance. Rest well, my darling. Your name shall be engraved on my heart for the rest of eternity.
  
  Nyk (Nyktiphoros) - Nyk.. where have you gone, my beloved kotik? The spirit managed to bewitch my heart despite all of my protests, and yet now he has disappeared from the face of the planet. I fear that he's either gone forever, or even more devastating, he's simply grown tired of me. To speak of him brings me great pain, but to forget him would simply be impossible. Come what may, dearest.
  
  Poet - Although our beginnings might have been volatile, I cannot deny that the demon and I were simply made for one another. The red string of fate has shown no mercy in its goal to bind us together; any attempts at resistance would be nothing more than an exercise in vanity at this point. Poet has possessed me entirely, and every inch of my soul yearns for his complete and utter devotion. If I cannot be the brightest star in his sky, then let the world crumble in flames and take us both with it.
  
  
  
  A Garden of Sinners
  
  Michael - Wrath - Michael is equal parts terrifying and entertaining. Although he's made it plain that he still dislikes me, I have a feeling that it is merely a front to disguise his true feelings. At the end of the day pumpkin, it is you that ought to be careful. I'm quite the handful.
  
  Elanore - Pride - Ellie has been a great asset to my endeavors to find a place to settle in this modern age, and to provide some structure to what would otherwise be an absolutely chaotic family, if I am to be so bold. I admire her sense of self and her cunning methods, but that isn't to say I'm opposed to teasing her now and then.
  
  Frankie - Envy - Frankie and I have many things in common, but more importantly than our love of fashion, extravagance and luxury is our mutual love of manipulation. Catch me if you can, dear. I'm sure the chase will be far from boring.
  
  
  Vindora - Gluttony - I have yet to make up my mind about Vindora, but two things I do know - he is the most unsettling of his siblings to be around, and there is far more to him than meets the eye. Being around him puts me on edge, but he is dear to Poet and thus I will tolerate his presence when I must. I shall simply have to be more careful whenever we end up alone together.
  
  Oliver - Greed - Oliver is both a devious mastermind and an absolute pain. I'm grateful for his help to assimilate me into modern society, however, I could do without him sinking his greedy little fingers into my things.
  
  Sophia - Sloth - I've yet to really spend time with the little dear, but I have a feeling that whatever stories she might choose to share with me one day would be nothing short of chilling. Perhaps we'll manage to become friends, but only time will tell.

  The following character relations are for reference only.
  Manny Santiaga - Manny and I were close for a time, very close, in fact. I met him one evening while passing through an establishment, and he caught my eye. Apparently, I caught his as well. With his rather demonic charm, he convinced me that it would be in my best interests to accompany him the majority of my time, and he never failed to adorn me with all of the most lavish trinkets alongside a handsome salary and delightful lodgings. For a variety of reasons, we separated. I did catch a glimpse of him not too long ago, and it was awkward to say the least. I wish him the best, though I don't know whether or not I would like to keep company with him regularly.
  
  Maletski - What a nuisance he is! His actions around me are nothing short of obsessive, and though I will admit that I very much enjoy teasing him because of this, I wouldn't go so far as to say that I feel safe around him. No, there is something about him that makes me feel very uneasy when he is near, although the attention he gives me is, at least on some level, rather... intoxicating.
  
  Campy - My former employer. I am thankful that my contract with the Drug Lord has come to an end, as he has tried my patience from the moment we crossed paths. Should I see him again, I doubt that either of us would greet the other with any degree of fondness.
  
  
  Fargo - Nothing more than a troublesome figure of my past. His decrepit father asked me to work for him at one point, which was an easy offer to decline. I hadn't seen the lion in years, but now he has come back to be as much of a nuisance as possible. Something about wanting his money back. Perhaps he should have kept a better eye on his pocket book.
  
  
  Sandayu - Dayu has been one of my most loyal patrons for many years, and a large portion of my jewel collection stems from his generosity. However, I do believe I shall be seeing less and less of him as the coming months progress, for a variety of reasons, though primarily because of his stubbornness. Alas, all good things must come to an end, I suppose.
  
  Vitaliy - The middle Fetisov has returned to the island with renewed vigor. He is difficult to read, and continues to drop hints about his consideration for something more substantial between us. I am unsure what to make of his actions, and thus I have decided to keep an eye on him and play along with his desires for the time being.
  
  Kir (Skorch) - Yet another of those Fetisovs. When I noticed him in the bar, I had an inkling that he was a member of that particular clan, and I seized the opportunity to ensnare him. Needless to say he fell for all of my acting - I barely had to lift a finger. I almost feel sorry for him, really. He seems to believe that his desires for me are darker than my own. If only he knew what I was really after.
  
  Vautrin - The panther is a most amusing gentleman that I have had the opportunity to lavish attention on a time or two. His apparent conquest for others would rival my own, if not for the fact he seems far less interested in the sinister as I am. None the less, he has connections with several of the Fetisovs, which could eventually prove useful for my own plans. Either way, his appreciation for my skills is refreshing, if nothing else.
  
  
  Frits - Ah, but what can I say about one so flawless? Frits has been a friend of mine for quite some time, acting as my exclusive hairdresser and closest confidant. So endeared to each other are we, that once when my poor Frits was left broken hearted by a lover's infidelity, I presented the poodle with his previously significant other's fingers. A gift that continues to give - who says I can't be generous?
  
  Raj (Raging) - A despicable excuse for a life form, a back stabber, and one of the most vulgar creatures I've ever crossed paths with. We were friends once, Raj and myself. Close, in fact. We worked together on many an interesting project, but she felt the need to run off with our bounty and our reward years ago. When I discovered she, too, had come to the island, I was incredibly annoyed, to say the least.
  
  Lazarus (The Hangman) - The Ghoul King is his given title, but to me, Lazarus is nothing more than an obnoxious wraith. He has developed a sudden case of obsession in regards to me, and try as I might, I cannot escape him. He describes it as a fondness for me, and being the tyrant that he is, he refuses to be rejected. I suppose I ought to be flattered on some level, if even the dead are in love with me. Thankfully, the lion seems to have taken his leave of the island.
  
  Zaynah - Oh, darling little Zaynah. I had been slated to finish her off at one point, but the Borzoi made me an offer that was far too sweet to pass up. She helped me find much stronger foot holds in the upper class circles from her homeland, and continued to offer information to me that only she was privy to. I'm pleased to see that she's travelled out to the island - she is one of the few faces from my earlier years that I am fond of.
  
  Adam (Windago) - A whisper of a memory, and nothing more. A brief haunting, at best.
  
  Arisu - Dove. The wolfess is an interesting development in my life as of late. She seems intent on resisting me, or whatever it is she believes me to be. We shall see how long it takes before she falls to my charms... My prediction would be not long at all.
  
  Klemens - Oh, dear Klementine, what a treat you are to torment. We met in the garden not long ago, and I have found the publisher to be quite the delight to poke fun at during my down time. Thus far I have claimed his spectacles for my own, but surely there are other things that I might be able to take.
  
  Ashcroft - Mr. Ashcroft is one of the finest jewelers I have had the privilege of giving patronage to, and as such he has become my exclusive craftsman. The quality of his work is without match, and as I am never one to settle for less than superior quality, it was no surprise that we soon became well acquainted. As it stands, I bring greater business to his practice, and in doing so he rewards me with a wide range of perks for my own vast collection of gems. Beyond that? The gargoyle is engaging, surely, and though he frustrates me now and again, I am always ready to accept his company.
  
  Necessary Evil - Dearest Evil, how fortunate that we've found one another. A chat at the bar, a talk in the den, and an arena fight later, I have discovered the Drifter to be a wonderful match for my needs. What fun it shall be to expand upon our friendship. Perhaps I am giddy by the thought, but why not? Special understandings are worthy of my delight.
  
  The Englishman - Ah, Mr. English is quite the gentleman, but I have a feeling that just under that layer of propriety lies something far more intriguing. I do hope to engage with him more often so that I might discover how far the rabbit hole really goes.
  
  Krise Halloway - I shall turn that filthy pirate's little boats to ash soon enough.
  
  Wellsworth - Ohhh, Wellsey. How far back do we go, hmm? Your heart once dreamt of calling me yours, and while your vanilla boyhood has long since passed, it's quite clear you never got over your unrequited love. Too bad for you, I have much more interest in tormenting you than pleasuring you.
