    Light was a tricky thing, a dangerous thing too. It’s hard for some people to grasp the complexity of light beyond what their eyes see. Babe understands light on an almost intimate level, light /was/ her gift, after all. Well, the redirection of light that is. She hadn’t quite figured out the creating part of it yet… Thankfully, it’s always in high supply so she needn’t worry. Light could fight, if redirected and compressed into a impenetrable and indestructible matter, a knife or bat, gripped like a real, solid object. Light could protect, if sewn around a body like armor as thin as a hair yet stronger than steel. Light can harm and help, can see and blind, can shine or dim, the duality of life.
