The armor was developed after several failed attempts and unusually uncomfortable prototypes, which were more harmful than helpful. The latest model is based on nano-technology, and is able to be stored within Alex's body. Instead of being restrictive, the armor boosts Alex's physical abilities, allowing him to be more agile without sacrificing protection.
The weapons of the armor include the standard repulsors (both chest and hand version) along with virtually unlimited amount of transformable weapons, thanks to the nanotechnology. The armament of the suit is only limited by Alex's will and imagination. A unique weapon is the Glaive Disc, which can cut through anything and is controlled by the suit. When deployed, the Glaives hover behind Alex like a halo, and can be used for defense and offense, but also as individual reconnaissance drones, as they are outfitted with an array of sensors. -
Project Zeus
After finding out he has terminal cancer, Alex decided to invest further into the research for cure, which was long overdue. The project "Zeus" aimed at boosting the immune system in order to naturally remove the cancer cells. Several successful attempts at curing early stages of the sickness made Alex optimistic about the treatment, however human trials had been forbidden by the government for some reason. Alex then decided to experiment on himself, but due to the sickness progressing past the point, that the cure can fix, results were unsuccessful. He then decided to boost the effectiveness of the cure, by adding viral proteins.
The main idea was that, like a virus, the cure would insert itself into cancer cells and use them to multiply. Theoretically it was an ingenious move, turning an incurable sickness into another, which can be cured. He then used his nano-technology to include a killswitch, in order to disable the virus, once the cancer has been dealt with.
Armed with this new weapon against the sickness, he injected himself, and just like that, overnight, he was as good as new. Without waiting further, Alex dispatched the new cure to hospitals the very next morning.
