Personality: Eva is an older woman who has seen what the world has to offer, both good and bad, and come out the other side concerned with only one thing, helping people see the good in themselves. She has held many titles over the years but the one that stuck, the one that helped define her as a person more than any other was 'Mother.' She has a seemingly innate desire and ability to gently guide and advise any who may chose to sit down at the bar of her tavern looking to drown their woes. Often times when they leave they will instead find that their perspective on said woes has changed for the better and the outlook seems brighter than it did when they walked through those swinging wooden doors even though nothing has actually changed. Eva has a lively sense of humor and loves to laugh. She also loves to see other people laughing and having a good time as well and thus tries to make her tavern, her appearance and her interactions as charming, joyful and inviting as possible. Talking to her often gives the impression of speaking to 'The Mother.' Not the participant's mother, per se, but more the ideal Mother figure everyone has in the back of their mind when considering the concept in general. Despite that, she is no perfect angel. She suffers from the vices of both pride and vanity, though she does her best to hide or at least mitigate their effect on her. She's also a woman who takes no guff from anyone and is more than willing and capable of throwing anyone out on their ear if she decides she doesn't like them, something she says she learned from her late husband, may he rest in peace. Evangaline is an elderly half elf, aging but still vigorous. Small of stature, slight of frame and genial in nature, Miss Evy is no pushover. She tends to keep her shimmering platinum hair cropped short and out of her face for practical reasons, yet always with a slight twist here and a curl there to help accentuate her aging beauty. She dresses simply, as a tavern mistress should, though anyone with a keen eye will note that her aprons are always sparkling clean and the fabrics her dresses are made from are always the finest material available.
