    Short, squishy, and strong, with a scowl that could make a dread pirate think twice. Her beady eyes are typically scrunched near shut, since she's horribly near-sighted and too stubborn (read: poor) to get glasses. Her mouth is generally twisted into a grimace or a frown.

    Rarely seen without her scrapping gear and welding mask. Carries her compact tools in various pouches strapped to her arms and legs. Rocks overalls and jumpsuits like a pro.

  • Bio

    "Beartrap" as she's called now started her life as Chammomile Beatitude Ansegi on a colony station in the Outer Reaches. She wouldn't make it groundside until she was nearly 6 years old, and never quite adjusted to sleeping without the reassuring hum of life support systems.

    Though they did their best, times were hard and it wasn't always possible to make ends meet. So Beartrap learned from a young age how to be wily and tough, both traits that have served her well as a Junker.

    Nowadays, she splits her time between modifying and maintaining her own vessel (a glorified tug) and offering her skills to the crews that mend fleets. Somehow, she's managed to hold onto two dreams: she wants to race in the InDisc Grand Prix (and win). Then she wants to see the galaxy's center, just once before she dies.

    Regardless of setting, Beartrap is a tinkerer, scrapper, mechanic - whatever you want to call it. She takes apart machines of all sorts so she can put them together better or reconfigure them into something other. Her specialties are vehicles, followed by weapon systems, but she's been known to dabble in prosthetics and robotics.

    In many settings, she also forges begrudging friendships with individuals whose species might classify as common pest. So she may also have herself a pet rat or other small nuisance who helps her with small tasks here and there. If no such animal exists (or the risk is too high to keep one around), and setting permits, she might build a small buddy to fill that role.
