Vampire Lore

• The fact that she is a vampire has altered her senses and physical attributes, some more drastically than others, but all surpass human averages.

• Basic Function

  • Her fangs do retract, though not at will. They only come out when threatened, angry, or hungry.
  • Her skin is ice cold to the touch, since blood no longer pumps through her veins. After feeding, she becomes warm, but only for up to an hour, her skin even flushing with the consumption.
  • Her saliva can heal external wounds, as can mortals drinking her blood.
  • While she is feeding, and only during the process of feeding, does her heart beat. It beats in time with that of her victim, and stops the moment she separates.

• Strengths

  • Immortal. She will never age past what she was when she died.
  • Senses are heightened, surpassing human standards.
  • Physical fitness heightened, surpassing human standards.

• Weaknesses

  • Sunlight. Direct sunlight can kill her with long exposure and wound her in small bursts.
  • She "sleeps" during the day, becoming weak during these hours. Not in a state of death, but sluggish.
  • Piercing her heart with any kind of spike/stake (wooden or non) will kill her.
  • Beheading is also an instantaneous death sentence.
  • Eating normal food makes her violently sick, her body rejecting it automatically.

  • Garlic and silver do not hurt her.
  • Religious iconography, holy water, etc. have no affect on her.
  • She has no shapeshifting ability.
  • No superhero abilities: Telepathy, super strength or speed, mind control, etc.
  • She does not sparkle.
