• Background

  "The basics is that there was a mad wizard awhile back, and the top of his power was around the time that I was born. He had gained a good amount of power before he went mad, making him more capable than the average mad wizard which usually get put down rather quickly. My parents lived underneath him, and as payment he took me as a baby. I can't even remember them. He had begun experiments of combining humans and animals together, and I was his latest experiment. He had already successfully combined the two, and he wanted to see what would happen to someone that he combined so early in life. His previous experiments had all resulted in the combined to go mad, something which I think happened because the two adult minds that suddenly became one fought against each other. Since my mind as a human babe and a fox kit combined hadn't grown the awareness to know what it was like to be seperate, they grew together.
  
  Over the years of growing up in the mad wizard's house I was exposed to many of his experiments, although luckily none of them were permanent. Just the way that he had crafted me meant that I would be capable of magic, although I hated it back then, I think it's the only thing that let me survive what he did to me. Perhaps I even had that potential as a babe or kit, and that helped me keep my mind as well? I don't suppose it really matters...
  
  I regret my hatred of magic know that I've tried learning how to cast it myself. Had I paid attention to what he did back then, I'm sure I'd know much more than what I'm managed to learn.
  
  Well, in the end, some brave hero killed the mad wizard and set us loose from his tower. I ran away to this forest and have lived here since. I would've moved to another village by now if it wasn't that many people see me rather correctly as unnatural and try to kill me, as well as those that knew of the dead mad wizard. Usually there is enough of them in even the smallest village that I would be killed if I stayed there" -Sephaline R. Megami
