  Occupation: Officially, she is a University student going to school for software development. In truth, she isn't learning anything she doesn't already know, but she hopes the piece of paper that comes with the degree will lend her a bit of professional legitimacy. Unofficially, there is more to this young woman then meets the eye. Hidden behind the anonymity of screen names and careful track covering, the majority of Nia's work for the last several years has been far less legitimate and legal then most would expect. Hacking. sabotage, theft, and the retrieval and leaking of important information are her specialities. She uses these skills for more or less altruistic purposes and tries not to directly profit from them too frequently, but she isn't afraid to break rules to achieve her goals and much of what she does could land her substantial jail time if anyone were to find out she was responsible for it.
  Personality: Nia is a certifiable genius, though few would guess it upon meeting her. She is laid back, and in school even puts a fair effort towards appearing mildly unmotivated and over her head in her classes. This is an act, and a good one, to cover her proficiency as a way of covering her own tracks, only her parents, and an IQ test she took when she was thirteen could tell you any differently. She has nearly perfect recall, and an uncanny knack with computers (or really any technology), both hardware and software. She is extremely resistant to authority and is not one to be respectful unless respect is shown to her in turn. She can be brutally honest and practical to a fault, and she doesn't have a lot of patience, especially when it comes to other people. She is a scary good liar and has an obsessive precision for detail. Because she is used to needing to think circles around others she has a tendency to overthink things or make things unnecessarily complicated. She is a generally decent person, but if her temper is riled she can be downright vindictive and coming from someone with a general disregard for trivial things like laws, she can be a real handful. In the end, she just wants to make the world a better place, even if it means risking everything. In friendly company, she is quiet but friendly, quick to crack jokes and occasionally flirtatious. She is a risk taker, and a thrill seeker, but also a meticulous planner.
  Mannerisms: She never gets enough sleep and in general shows a lot more interest in technology then she does for people. Her personal space is obsessively clean. She has one hell of a poker face, you will never know what she's thinking unless she wants you to know.
  Abilities: She is a technological wizard, there is no challenge too great, and no firewall strong enough to keep her out. She is highly intelligent and charismatic/manipulative enough to be able to get away with a lot. Eidetic memory.
  Weaknesses: She is endlessly defiant, and can sometimes overlook things due to overthinking. She is a risk taker often to the detriment of herself. If given reason, she can be a real nightmare. She isn't great at keeping close personal relationships due to the secretive nature of what she does.
  Likes: Technology of all kinds, the more obscure, and the more of a challenge it is the happier she is. Bacon her Pig, bacon the food. Junk food, feeling like she has accomplished something. Solving the puzzle.
  Dislikes: Authority though she can function under a boss if they treat her with respect and can accept her as she is. The idea of living the rest of her life behind bars, maybe the only thing she truly fears.

• Bio

  Born to Bethany and Lewis Moorehouse, a Librarian and a Biochemist, just outside Cardiff, Nia's life began in the fairly common way. It was clear from a young age that she was gifted. She learned fast and soaked up knowledge of any kind like a sponge. A happy and well-dispositioned child these first few years of life were happy and full of simple joy as most children were.
  
  As she grew older she began to develop a willfulness that quickly grew into a real problem as she edged towards puberty. By the time she was 11, she was in full out rebellion, acting out at school, causing trouble left and right while running circles around her teachers intellectually, and at the same time being a general distribution to the learning environment. She was passed from school to school as one by one they determined they couldn't handle her. Eventually, her parents decided to homeschool her, where they could keep her intellectually stimulated and out of trouble.
  
  The results were mixed. Nia's academics skyrocketed, she blew through months of curriculum in days or sometimes hours, but her rebellion also intensified as she became resentful of seclusion and lack of social contact. She began to take reckless risks, she would sneak out and hitchhike to the city where she fell in with an older and slightly troubling crowd.
  
  That was when things went horribly wrong. One day, at thirteen she snuck out of her bedroom at night and hitchhiked to the city to meet her friends. The group of older kids who had been drinking and doing party drugs had decided to drive to a nearby bush party, the night would end in tragedy when the car ran headlong into oncoming traffic on the highway.
  
  The crash killed everyone in the oncoming vehicle, and the two front seat passengers in the car Nia was in. Nia in the backseat was the sole survivor of the horrible accident, but she didn't escape unscathed. Her Spine was broken, her parents were informed that night that there was a possibility she would never walk again.
  
  Defiant to the end, Nia wasn't content to let this best her. And with spirits high as could be expected in the situation, because of a years-long gruelling recovery process. Confined to braces and wheelchairs for the better part of five years while she worked on her PT, she had nothing but time on her hands. She got her GED at fourteen and got deep into computers. This would end up being her calling, a truly remarkable talent that she took to like a fish to water.
  
  Struggling to make ends meet with Nia's growing medical bills, her parents well victim to an insurance fraud scheme, by investing substantial money and leveraging their house as collateral to pay for a special insurance that would cover all of Nia's costs for life. It seemed too good to be true, and that was exactly what it would turn out to be.
  
  Her parents lost everything to the company called Pharmasafe, and the police were able to do very little since the business had done well to cover their money trail, and the owners went underground with an accumulated 50 million dollars from the Moorehouses and other desperate families. In the end, it would be a fateful turn of events, and one that would shape the course of Nia's life.
  
  Nia was nineteen when BlueFaerie leaked the first of many reports to the Interpol, that report would lead directly to the capture and prosecution of key executives of Pharmasafe. Next was integral information on a ring of corruption within Scotland Yard.
  
  She continued to push it further and further and has saved lives and punished criminals by breaking laws without shame. She's also stolen a substantial amount of money to live off of, but always from people who she believes deserve it, and she's rarely wrong.
  
  Now at twenty-one she has come leaps and bound in her recovery, she can walk unassisted and have very few bad pain days. Physically she remains slightly frail but it, like her abilities, get better every day.
  
  Though Nia tries to be a force for good, she is not exactly guiltless herself. Much of what she does is altruistic, but she has on occasion profited from her work, and one or twice, when driven to anger, has proven herself more than capable of using her abilities for evil too, as her douchebag ex-boyfriend and several other people can attest to.
  
  Of course, when taring down power, one needs to keep anonymous to avoid major consequences, and Nia unlike some, balances the double life with ease. On the internet, she is one person, and in day to day life she is quite another. She enrolled in university Software development classes, and though she knows far beyond what is being taught, she does only moderately well and appears to be a laid back, less motivated girl to the observing eye, surely not capable of the feats she's pulled off, and few could tell you differently.
