Venom
●●●●● - Incredibly Potent
Venom is most commonly found in the males of the species, located in their lower incisors, however on the rare occasion a female or two have been found equipped with the potent venom found in their systems. Similar to a snake they are unable to control their venom output when biting. Venom does NOT cause harm to other cold blooded creatures. Though for warm blooded beings it can cause severe damage to the nervous system depending on the output, causing the victim to become seriously ill to the point where the respiratory system will fail if a hefty dose is ingested.
Blood Bending

Blood bending once was a rather highly sought out ability among the Suesai in the first several generations. Though it was never brought to the full ability to control someones actual body. It was used to create pressure upon the body. Due to the ability to create or make lack of blood to the brain and other muscles. It can cause dizziness, blackouts, weak muscles and weaker physical movement. It does however take a toll on the body of the Suesai doing it-one that can drain them to the point of an overly weakened state. Sadly it was an ability not many could control it became taboo for the later generations to learn and use. Anyone free born that practiced this become exiled on spot.Water Manipulation

This manipulation does tend to change and grow stronger the older they get. Young Suesai under the age of fifty years usually will have a mild grade at this. Though this is not saying practice or uncanny natural talent is not there, because each Suesai is different. Heavy water manipulation such as tidal waves and whirlpools are things done typically by several Suesai at a time.
Ice Manipulation

Ice Manipulation is something no free born can naturally due. Though it is in their capability to do so it has to be taught to them by outside sources. No free born have considered learning this ability let alone know they can do this. Ice manipulation is very similar to water manipulation though it does take more physical strength to use it.
Common Tongue
Latin is the base to their language as it is for most. Though they speak an odd form of this language they have also learned several others. Though all Suesai whether slave or free born seem to at least understand a base of Latin.

The dark history of the Suesai started and ended with Orbis. The eldest suesai of the pride was not subject to a barbaric upbringing, but one that is considered a true enigma in the eyes of the Suesai. The riddle of his origin ever laced within the old tales passed on from generation to generation as an attempt to force suitable behavior into the young. Though, the correct story has never truly been told. Too often was it said, “If you are not careful, Orbis will come and take you away.” A warning ingrained within all of the youths. Many knew of the supposed lie that Orbis desired perfected eugenics within the ranks of his kind, but not the motive that would be behind such blasphemy.
Few were without any preconceptions when it was known that the elder Suesai desired optimal traits that he deemed the most advantageous, superior, or appealing. Often it could be considered those with warm colored markings were not ideal, but no one knew what he claimed was the greatest. Ultimately, some could imagine that it was whatever appealed to the precursor was what fit his aspiring image of a truely ideal suesai. It is often considered by the older Suesai with more knowledge of Orbis, that regardless of his beliefs, they were never immune to his own hubris.
Orbis was quite possibly, when present, the most egotistical of his species. Always setting out and accomplishing goals through pragmatic means with absolute authority which led to the abundant peak of the species. The surplus of the aquatic felines served to pique the interest of mere mortals who then sought to capture and relinquish the physical beauty of his oceanic dynasty. The arrogance of Orbis that led to wars with the Leviathans while surface dwellers captured the youths and threw them into bondage caused utter devastation to the numbers of the species. But none of this caused him to relent, his passion to see what one could only assume the elder referred to as the destiny of his kind blinding him to the reality of the inevitable downfall. It was around this time that it is rumored his close friend and greatest ally, Lume, approached Orbis about the means in which the precursor guided his kin towards eminence.
Little is known as to the specifics in regards to why Orbis took it upon himself to do what he did, but many know it heavily involved Stellis and directly resulted in Orbis eventually being exiled and the crashing fall of the pride. One fateful week Orbis arrived in the reef that was heavily populated with line of Voret before he happened upon a clutch of infants in the company of Maximus, Voret’s son. None know what words were exchanged but there is rumor that Orbis kept Maximus alive as he systematically killed his four children before mortally wounding the son and leaving him as a warning.
A clash ensued between Orbis and the younger Voret but only one would stand the victor. The green patriarch was flayed alive in the midst of the challenge for his entire line to see as they watched on only for Voret’s younger brother to be so bold and attempt to step in against the wishes of his elder sibling. The maddened Orbis only choose to punish Acacious with a swift death that had the entire line of Voret truly revolting in a mob to kill Orbis, who, with one powerful outburst slaughtered every last one and left the reef rife with gore and bodies.
Orbis was the cause for the fall of fifteen Suesai and forever remembered as the killer of an entire line of Suesai whose motives were completely unknown and unchecked. For the first time, everyone feared the elder and the title began to circulate through the pride within venomous whispers.
