  For as long as Aalot could remember, he was a soldier of war. Wherever there was a battle, you would see the Iron-wall there, tearing down his foes. He was born, and made for war. There was a time however, that it was not only war that he was a part of. Years ago, he was a knight sworn to protect his royal family, and would die if he must to make sure they lived. He stayed and lived in the castle, but he had loved to go out and meet with the people of the kingdom he protected. Shaking the hands of children, buying the poor bakers bread, and leaving a handsome tip to give them a heads start. He was a wealthy noble knight, and did all he could to help out his kingdom.
  
  It was not always a peaceful life in his kingdom however. Being such a high rank came with a cost. His king believed that the high ranks should lead their soldiers into the battle on the front lines. He was given the title "warlord." He wore the title proudly, wearing his impenetrable armor and charged into battle, first to meet the enemy head on, his sword making the first blow. His presence on the battlefield rallied the troops, and with his expertise, and his fellow soldiers morale never dipping, there was not a foe too powerful that could not be defeated. Each battle did not come without loss however, as it took an effect of Aalot. Seeing his once good friends fall in battle, and taking the lives of so many others took a toll on his mental state, where he began to hate the war, but it was starting to become all he knew, what he lived for. To see the blood of his enemy spill, to see blood cover the ground of anybody who dared to fight against his kingdom.
  
  It seemed like nobody could stop his forces, until there was one foe that had an undying army. A powerful lich had decided that the kingdom needed to know how weak they really were. The kingdom was not all merry and good as it liked its people to believe, and the lich had known its secrets. They had secretly been taking away any person suspected of witchcraft or the ability to use magic, and had been executing them, without anybody but the royal guard, and the royal family knowing. This is what sparked Aalot's hatred for magic, hearing tales of what it could do from his king, but never seeing it first hand. He was always told that it was too dangerous for even him to see, and would be vanquished by such a talent.
  
  This lich had known the fear that the royal family had of magic, and used it against them. He began to raise the dead, and begin an unstopping assault on the kingdom. Enslaving the citizens, or forcefully making them undead soldiers for the lich. It was an unstoppable wall of destruction that the lich's army had left in its wake, towns destroyed and enslaved, but magic users were left untouched by this lich. The lich and his army neared the Castle, and Aalot did what he knew best, rallied his troops, and prepared for the battle that his life, and kingdom depended on.
  
  It lasted for hours, then days, Aalot and his troops fighting off the undead horde nonstop, and it became a battle of attrition, and the knights were on the loosing side. At the end of the week, there was no progress being made by either side, and the undead army was beginning to thin. The undead began to retreat, as if admitting defeat. This made the knights and Aalot cheer, thinking they had won, until the earth shuttered as a ferocious, dragon roar shook the land. In the distance, there was a dragon quickly approaching. It appeared to be rotted, and decayed however and it dawned upon Aalot. This lich had the strength and will to raise a dragon from the dead. Aalot and his troops held strong ,even as the dragon landed, even if they were shaken up, they were not going to fall without a fight. Almost simultaneously, the knights had let out a battle cry, and charged into battle, Aalot leading the charge against the dragon.
  
  The fight was bloody, the undead horde charging in with the knights, making it an impossible fight, and it had proved to be as knights slowly began to fall, weakening the dragon to where it was almost dead, until all but one knight had been defeated. Aalot stood alone against the dragon, and undead horde, his brothers in arms slowly rising as he heard the cackle from the lich, knowing he had won. Aalot knew he could not win this fight, and had seen the t rue horrors of magic, of what destruction it could cause. His last act was to charge the weakened, and fallen dragon, and plunge his blade into its eye before it could react, making it screech and roar in pain as it shook its head, sending Aalot flying in the air, crashing down near the lich. The dragon had fallen limp, but it was unknown if it had died as Aalot lay still on the ground, staring the lich in its cold, dark eyes as he rest his head on the ground, closing his eyes before he felt a dagger stab into his skull, ending the brave knights life.
  
  The story did not end there for this knight however, as an unknown amount of time went by, and his soul had found a new body, a godly entity in his mind, telling him that his battle was not over. There was still people to fight for. He had found himself in a new body, dark, impenetrable armor covering his body as he looked up, and saw two armies preparing to charge at each other. As they began to charge, so did he to the middle. He was born into war, and he will not be the victim of war, until the final war has ended. Then he will fade peacefully into the afterlife, his duty complete.
