Zen Dejhel

Zen looks more or less like an average Nautolan who exercises daily. He likes to keep himself in good physical shape, since he believes that maintaining his body is a necessity, considering how often he engages in combat. Zen is taller then most members of his species, standing 1.9 meters tall. As a Nautolan, Zen does have several physical features that distinguish him from other species. The most notable features he possesses because of his species are his head tresses and solid black eyes.

Zen has quite a few scars on his body from years spent on the front line of the wars. One scar runs along the inside of his left forearm, the result of a Sith sword. Another notable scar is on his chest, just to the left of his breast bone, where one of his hearts was. The scar is rather large, at least the size of a fist, the result of an assassination attempt against a senator, during which Zen used his own body to shield the senator. The wound resulted in Zen loosing that heart, and the scar is evidence of the surgery that extracted the destroyed heart and repaired his lung.

Zen usually carries himself with confidence, with his shoulders back, back straight and attention focused ahead. Most of the time a slight frown is on his face, but in the right company he does smile often. The facial feature that most people are drawn too is Zen's rather ornate and large tattoo. The tattoo is meant to show his place as a prince of his birth nation, and an eventual king. The single dot on his forehead denotes him as the firstborn.

As far as clothing is concerned, Zen wears his Echani fiber weave armor, a black kamas, black pants and boots. Zen also wears a utility belt and his bracers everyday. He is never found without his lightsaber. Zen only wears his robe when going to a Jedi function of some kind, which he does rather rarely these days.

Personality:
Zen is a rather complex person. He is quite devoted to his duties, and many mistakenly label him as being too serious because of his sense of duty. Zen has served the Republic and the Alliance for his entire life and he would not think that his life would be waster if it were lost in helping to restore the Republic. Zen views service as something all beings should be proud of, especially if it means ridding the galaxy of tyranny, slavery and oppression. These beliefs in duty and service have lead Zen to be a rather passionate advocate for the restoration of the Republic. There have been plenty of times while in a cantina somewhere he has gotten into debates with other patrons, debates that have more then once lead to brawls over the separate parties differing views on what is best for the galaxy.

Zen can be very personable and caring, wanting what is best for the Jedi, Alliance and the people that depend on him. Zen does have his faults, like anyone. He "grew up" amongst military personal, so he learned to live life day to day, taking each little joy he can get. He drinks occasionally, but not to excess, and has been known to have lovers from time to time. Zen also enjoys a good game of sabacc, although many people won't play with him, because he's a Force user, and they're scared he'd cheat. So he has been trying to teach several of his friends in the Order the game, so he can play on occasion. Zen's experience on more clandestine missions, and some of the betrayals he's endured, do make him rather suspicious of people at times, especially those that are new to the Order.
