I'yunra Xhaga

  Born in the island region of La Noscea. I’yunra knew very little about her mother, except that she had abandoned her on the gangplank of a docked vessel belonging to a Miqote pirate named Xhaga.
  The man found the child with a note stating that she was indeed his child and next time he should use the tea like they agreed along with several slurs thrown his way. Left with no choice Xhaga took her in naming her I’yunra and entrusting her care to his firstmate/brother Xhana.
  
  For roughly fourteen years they sailed around the seas, I’yunra's uncle taught her many things including how to read and write. It wasn't until one night during her fifteenth nameday that she would know her father's true cruelty. I’yunra was always forbidden from going above deck around the crew, since she would distract the crew. This time was different Xhana had invited her out to have some fun after all she would only be fifteen once. The night was full of fun, games, and merryment I’yunra couldn't have been happier. Until one of the crew accidentally set off his rifle shooting a hole through her father's quarters. The silence was so thick it could have been cut with a knife. Xhaga kicked open his door in a rage holding a miqote dancer girl by her hair and a bottle of wine in the other. “Who in te bloody hell of menphina’s tits just shoot me wall!” He shouted looking about before his eyes rested on poor I’yunra dancing with the cabin boy. Drunk and enraged Xaga threw his company to the floor hard as he reach into his coat and pulled his favorite flintlock pistol. He fired hitting the poor boy square in the back of the head. I’yunra screamed as she watched him fall to the deck. Xhaga took his time as he walked over and in one swift movement kicked his body over the edge and into the water. “Partys over ye bastards now back to work te lot of ya!” He again shouted as the crew scattered. Xhana walked over to collect young I’yunra and escort her back inside. However Xhaga had other plans he grabbed her up by her hair, pulled her down below deck to a special part of the brig that was kept hidden. “Ye little harlot gonna be stayin in here from now on.” He smirked and snorted as he locked her up inside a wrought iron box, with only a small window for food and light to go through.
  
  Three years passed as her punishment continued, she had all but almost forgotten the things Xhana had thought her. One day, it actually happened to be her eighteenth nameday her father returned and let her out of the box. I’yunra was surprised but her expression soon changed when got above deck, for it was there that she saw her uncle the man she loved and cherished, like how her father should have been to her hanging from the crow's nest above. “See lass im the captain aboard this here vessel and wot I say goes.” He mocked her laughing as he shoved her to her knees. “Now there are some important guests coming to do business with me be a good bitch and keep ye trap shut.” He barked as he turned from her.
  
  On the horizon the leftovers of the crew could see metal ships in the air heading their way. Eventually the ships arrived and three heavily armored men exited the crafts. Walking up to Xhaga one of them asked him if he had the delivery as planned. “Of course here it is my good man.” Xhaga replied a smile on his face and a new bag of gil being poured into his hands. One of the other soldiers in the blackened armor approached I’yunra before inquiring with her father how much for the girl. “Oh that waste o skin I don't know maybe one million gil extra she is quite rare.” he answered the man’s question. The soldier nodded and motioned to the others to pay him the amount needed. Their business concluded the soldiers hoisted I’yunra up shackling her in chains and walking her to their airship.
  
  As they flew away she looked back at the old ship were she grew up, and now she'd never see it again. Rage built up inside of her heart and as she looked at the ship a large pillar of rock and slag came crashing down on top of it. Finally the doors shut and her view was cut off and she was told to sit down and be silent. It wasn't till they arrived at a desert like place full of sand that she was permitted to stand. Once they docked and unloaded I’yunra was taken into a prison area and told that if she wanted her freedom she'd have to fight her way out.
  
  Three more years passed and I’yunra now a popular choice in the prison arena. She managed to stage a escape for herself. Making it to a weak point in baelsar's wall before anyone had noticed. It was at that time she turned around only to find a katana blade’s point nestled against her neck. “Now now now if you leave I'll have to let the other beasts go, and while that would be an interesting hunt I'm rather not fond of the idea.” It was the crown Prince of the empire zenos himself before her. Seeing no other way she charged him only to be cut down swiftly as he narrowly avoided her vitals. “Hmm promise is there but lack of power and form is obvious.” he said with a blank stare. “Go on run little wolf come back when you sharpen your fangs.” I’yunra took the chance, and bolted down away from him and into the forest of gridania.
  
  After a few weeks of travel she found herself in yet another desert only this one had a humongous city built nearby. Heading inside this said city I’yunra was approached by a small fellow who said he had need of a strong, hardy, combat trained fighter and would pay her well if she won. She took up this job as a gladiator in the bloodsands, and sure enough she won match after match earning herself, and him a tidy profit.
  
  Though not everyone was pleased with this and arranged for I’yunra to fight the very Bull of Ala Mhigo himself. The fight went on for three hours before finally I’yunra collapsed ending it. Furious that she had lost her supporter left her there alone. I'yunra left with a few thousand gil headed to the quicksand, for a bottle of something to drown herself in.She entered the tavern and sat down at the bar down from it's patron Momodi. It was then that she overheard talk of a place in the goblet called the whispered wish and they offered good work. So with nothing to lose or anything better to do she left the bar behind and made her way to the goblet.
