• Backstory

  Emogen is a beautiful and well maintained Xaela who burst forth with confidence in vigor after a life of isolation. At age 5 Emogen's parents turned her over to a brothel, hoping to rid themselves of the child they had conceived. In the beginning the co-owners of the brothel disagreed, one thinking that she was only another mouth to feed and wanted nothing more to do with her. However the second, a man of merely 20 looked upon the raven-haired beauty and saw something special within her. After agreeing to take Emogen in, with no payout for her parents, the man raised her almost as his own. Though he spent most of his time doing paperwork and often left Emogen with the courtesans, he cared for her deeply and she loved him all the same. As she grew older her Master's wants soon began to conflict with his image of the woman he'd raised and when she was 16 he speculated selling her off to the highest bidder and taking the money for the brothel. Emogen, having overheard would have nothing to do with an auction which she had no say in, and so she approached the women of the brothel to ask for a favor.
  
  For some weeks the ladies trained Emogen in the ways of love, passion, and sex, and when they were finished a new woman emerged. Once stood a young lady, a quiet mouse who often held her nose in a book and her head down while she walked. A lady who covered all her skin, appropriate robes and garments to tend to the duties of the brothel that didn't require taking anything off. A lady who was shy, who blushed, one who was soft spoken in nature and often only looked from a distance while she staggered to help serve drinks to the patrons. Now however, now stood a woman. A woman capable of seducing a man, of pleasing a woman, of helping a couple. Now stood a woman with purpose, with a desire to get what she wanted for one and she would stop at nothing to achieve her goals.
  
  Late into the evening she approached her Master, locking the door behind her and stepping out of her clothes. Where once was a man who she could've regarded as her father there now was a man who she would call lover, one she would call her first, and one she would claim for her own. Though he seemed unsure of his own feelings, a man was a man and he wasn't related to Emogen in any manner, in fact he never even formally adopted her. A night of passion ensued and what came after was years of desire., pain, and lust formed together into one ball of heat.
  
  Emogen became his first customer for his new business on the side, drugs. He'd been working in alchemy on the side and had manufactured several forms of his own drugs of which he often tested on Emogen and occasionally with her in a night of want. Through the years Emogen suffered many ups and down, eventually she lost her sense of joy which she filled with aetherium dust (cocaine), then she lost the ability to get pregnant, she lost the want to be what she used to be and she only wished to be more than she was.
  
  Everyday Emogen fought for something more, more sex, more drugs, more people to come flock her way and everyday her Master felt the consequences of his actions on her. He fought against her, against her constant need to be filled with drugs, or with any number of...things, until eventually she broke. In a fit of rage, passion, and withdrawl Emogen stormed out of his life potentially forever. With her she only brought her skimpiest outfit and whatever amount of drugs she could manage, but without him there to regulate her she couldn't know her own limit.
  
  It wasn't long before she collapsed in the streets of Ul'dah, an overdose on gods know what drugs and how much. A wonderful woman came by to help her and after Emogen had recovered the woman told her of a place she could go, a place much like where she came from but a place that would treat her well. It was that day Emogen walked into The Whispered Wish. The Wish hardly hesitated to take her clearly malnourished self in and over time Emogen grew to become a true inspiration to all courtesans.
  
  While still struggling with her addiction she learned much in her time there. A woman willing to offer any number of services desired to anyone and any amount of individuals. She loves to please everyone in whatever way she can, be it through conversation, a relaxing bath where she'll pamper anyone with luxurious soaps, a massage paired nicely with an assortment of chocolate dipped fruits, a night of submission or even dominance, these are all things she can provide.
  
  It took her only a short time before she was climbing the ladder, pulling her way to the top and claiming a spot as management for The Wish. It was short lived but for the first time in her life she began to /feel/ something. The stress, the pain, the tiresome days wore on her and she found her relief in drugs. Until of course a fateful few partners came along. Bonding with close friends she developed a drug meant to help those in need, to help those with a dark past they cannot let go of and...it worked. Her drug worked, it was only a matter of time before she got the courage to take it herself.
  
  Due to abusive situations and intense disagreements Emogen eventually found herself on the outside of The Wish, walking away from the place she once called home which she now viewed as a place of only pain and hurt. Bonding deeper with her lover Rauffe she began spending time living with him. Eventually Emogen decided to open her own business, what will happen next?
