• Biography / Background

  When explaining where he grew up, Max will only say Australia, not a town or area in the country, solely because he feels he never stayed one place more than the other. He and his family would move all the time, never staying one place for more than two years. There probably won't come a time where he'll admit to anyone not close to him, that this fact impacted him negatively. He'll most likely say that that's where his love for traveling stems from, and that's it. In reality it's definitely created some issues or fear of becoming too close with someone - that and probably also a few other things along the way - since he could never really keep a friend for longer than a couple of years. He's very good at having superficial friends, friends that are the type that are just fun to hang out with when he's bored, but that he never really has a deeper connection with.
  
  Max's family were always quite uptight and conservative - he went to an all-boys, catholic boarding school until he was 14 -, so at the mere age of 16, when he came out to his parents, they packed his suitcase for him and sent him on his way. There was, in their eyes, no way they could have a gay son, so it would be much easier if they just threw him out the house and denied his existence. Luckily, despite the fact that his parents didn't want anything to do with him any longer, his grandma was kind enough to give him a sum of money big enough for him to move to the States. Obviously, at only 16 years old, Max would definitely had preferred if she could have taken him in, but she had some complications in her life resulting in the fact that she did not want to fall out with her son; Max's father. So, he had to suck it up and move to the States on his own. So since he was 16, he's been living in New York City, doing what he can to make the money to be able to stay. Which hasn't always been the most glamorous road to travel, but he's survived. Still is. He even got his high school diploma taking online classes, and after getting an internship and later on a job at a high class fashion magazine, he's been able to take some college courses as well. Majoring in fashion design, and minoring creative writing, both of which have always been an interest of his.
  
  Speaking of interests, the two things that have pretty much kept him going through his kind of hectic youth, have been fashion and music. In an ideal world, he would want to live his life doing something with both of those things, being both a musician and a designer. He's aware that that probably is a bit hard to reach, but he's willing to do what he can to try.
  
  Despite the things he's been through, Max still is a very positive and cheerful person to be around. He's definitely not the person to ever turn down an offer of fun.
