Biography
Alexis was always a bit of an outcast in her tribe as far as females went. She hated the tasks most females did on a day to day basis. Gathering and cooking were probably the only things she really liked to do that were mostly assigned to females but really her heart was more into stuff she saw the males doing around. When she could sneak away from her more 'feminine duties' she would take up a bow and a dagger and go out to practice in the woods. More often than not it would cause a lot of trouble with the males in her tribe feeling she was overstepping her boundaries. But her father, never having a son of his own, helped to teach his daughter all he could since he could see how much she wanted to grow along this path. He taught her how to craft weapons that the tribe used and even gave her some training on the bow and dagger she had taken up in her own training. It wasn't much, but it gave her enough of a foundation that she was able to out hunt even some of the more experienced hunters. Her lithe form allowed her the ability to move in ways they could only imagine and gave her an edge in certain situations. But with all of that game a price. When her father passed she was essentially run out of the tribe. The males being in control felt she was way out of line and left her with the ultimatum of 'shape up or get out' and she chose the latter.
Being on her own she found herself stumbling onto a village that she ended up making her home and eventually found a blacksmith seeking an apprentice. Given the experience she had with her father she took up the chance to show she was more than what her outward appearance would suggest. It was hard for her at first given her physical limitations, but she eventually found tasks growing easier for her and with her newfound strength and pure determination she made a name for herself in the little village making little bits of everything they might need. But even an apprentice must strike out on their own so now she finds herself wandering the world with all the experience she has been given in hopes of finding a place she can permanently call home and a life she can be truly happy to have.
