  What once wa a world of vibrant life and jubilation. Abrithas was full of secluded villages small communities that thrived on trade and commerce, landscapes that stretched endlessly, melting into one another like a delicate painting. It was home to an abundance of flora and fauna, life that thrived in this seemingly bountiful paradise.
  And even for all its wonder and beauty, Abrithas was not without its flaws. There were dark pits in the world, isolated creators of filth where life was demented and twisted into friendish abominations. But in all, these two absolutes of existence rarely clashed in the present day as vicious wars of the past seemed to be enough of a deterrent for both sides.
  
  What caused the change is still nothing more the swirled rumors. There whispers of black magic, of gods and demons, but nothing tangible to place the blame on. All anyone in the world of Abrithas knows is that one day the sun rose not as its typical glowing white orb, but as a crimson disk. nd the heavens around it were tainted by its radiating aura, turning from silky blue to ash . life didn't wither away, but it was touched by strange decay. Trees now stood stark against the and with trunks of snow white, their leaves a radiant gold. Animals were larger, they were no longer docile and complacent with the world around them, but instead they became aggressive, in most cases attacking without provocation.
  
  These days, most don't dare stray far from home. The world outside the guarded walls of the remaining civilizations is not a place to delicate people. However, a few do take the risk, working as hired guards and transport crews for the merchants that must travel for work.
  Life is trying to find its place here in this new reality

• Background

  Aris's life prior to the change is a muddled mess. There isn't much he gives away as far as his past is concerned, not that he remembers most of it. He never really paid much attention to the everyday comings and going, he took his comfortable life for granted and never took the time to really look at the world
  
  After the change, life got complicated. there were a few weeks of hell once things changed, people dying, illness running rampant and somewhere in the chaos of it all, Aris found himself alone. Lost in an endless sea of strange white trees. He doesn't talk much about the next bit, flashbacks of the events still a sore spot for the young man. but that was all decades ago.
  For the past 30 years, Aris has been working as a hunter of sorts. he's a guard for hire, though few would ever accept his services knowing what he is.
