• Complications

  Traumatic Flashes (Major): In the old unit a grease-monkey was a wrench jockey first rifleman second... and so it was pretty much right up to Serenity Valley. He might have done a lot of weapon maintenance but as one of the few people not suffering from crippling wounds Nat had gun shoved in his hand was expected to put up some resistance. Sure he had his basic training but if there was a Hell it was right there in that valley. While he slogged through the battle right up to the end he still remembers the carnage all too well and often wakes up in the middle of the night sweating if he's lucky and screaming in a mix of rage and terror if he isn't ({In RPG terms this happens twice per session...} Traumatic flashbacks leave Nat incoherent, shaking, and screaming for d2 turns (12-20 seconds?) and for the following 10 minutes he is forced to take a -2 penalty to All Attribute actions)
  
  Combat Paralysis (Major): When bullets fly Nat has a tendency to freeze up... sure he's fought with the best and didn't die like the rest but it doesn't mean that he's used to it. (This is a possible trigger for his Flashbacks, but otherwise he remains inactive for d4 rounds and incapable of remedying this himself... however... any character with the Leadership Asset may jolt him into action)
  
  Hooked (Major): Sleep has a tendency to lead to dreaming, and dreaming leads to nightmares... Nat doesn't want those. No... no those lead to memories he wants to leave behind. Nat has the answer though: stims! Mixed in with his drinks so no one notices, especially tea and coffee... and he gets very Very intolerable if he doesn't get them...
