• Distinguishing Marks:
  
  Black-lined lips and slitted nostrils. Small conical teeth often seen since he is almost always smiling. Long, thick pink tongue with smatterings of black speckles. Teeny tiny rounded ears. Webbed paws and long webbed feet, all contained small very sharp claws at their ends. Little stub of a tail either hidden or just above his pants.
  
  Most scars are upon his back and are fading from age, some far fresher than others. They look now to be like long ridges, from what were vicious whip marks. Purposeful scarrification of a spade on left hip. Sometimes the fur here is dyed to make it more noticeable. Several scars can be felt, but are hidden, on his head. Both ears have dots of missing fur where earrings used to be.
  
  Clothing:
  
  Swimming: Kotik wears only a strip of pale lavender silk wrapped around his waist with the end looped down to cover crotch and secured once more just below his tail. So very little to the imagination is left, chest and long powerful legs equally bared for people's viewing pleasure. Long hair has been hastily braided and secured with a small clip decorated with pink seashells. Anklets of seashell and teeth wreath his ankles.
  
  Normal: A simple silk vest that is mostly blue and left open without any decoration to it. Large pantaloons (harem pants, Aladdin pants, or pancha kachcham) are his leg coverings of choice, and are cut to be light and billowy, giving full range of leg movement. At the ankles, these are tied with thin leather cords wrapped several times. Each cord has a series of beads made from some of Kotik's best catches of fish as well as his favorite, most colorful seashells. Quite rarely does he wear a matching necklace with more of his bone and teeth collection, a remnant of old days.
  
  Lookin' Sharp: For formal occasions, Kotik gets dolled up in his Sunday best. Hair is neatly pulled back into a high ponytail with strings of pearls tied into his hair. An expensive long silk vest is buttoned up to his chest of a deep, rich indigo with sky blue shell embroidery and lining complete with pearl buttons. Soft, long sleeved undershirt pinches with lavender ribbons at the wrist. Loose pantaloons are tied at the ankle and decorated with silver and pearl anklets.
