• Description

  You see a carthorse standing before you; he towered above most at the height of roughly 8 foot, his midnight fur short and shiny from head to hoof. His shoulders were round and bore clearly defined muscles which ran along arms towards big, powerful hands that spoke of the labour he'd done in the past. His chest moved clearly with every breath, his muscular frame visible through the fur. His broad back was also bearing muscles due to the tons of materials he had carried across the years. His strong, defined legs would end in huge, powerful hooves, which were covered by shaggy, greying fur, that looked like they could carry more than his own weight without problems. Born and raised as slave, he was used to wearing little clothing, a simple loincloth keeping him modest. [WF]

• Biography

  Former life
  Reginar was born in a northern tribe as the son of a hunter and warrior. The village of his tribe was attacked by the empire, every man who fought was killed on the spot, the women raped and every survivor captured and sold as slaves. Dozens of his people were put in chains and dragged away from their burning village, everything that would be left of their former home would be ashes, bones and memories.
  Reginar was bought by a cruel and ruthless wolf noble, who treated his slaves as mere things, not even giving them more clothes than necessary to wear. The wolf ruled by fear, punishing everyone who didn't obey. Reginar was raised as a slave, learning to be obedient and polite the hard way, payed with tears and blood. Yet he still suffered at the hands of his master, being mistreated and punished over and over again, without any reasons. That probably is the reason, why he never stopped wishing for his freedom and would fight for it, given the chance.
  
  Freedom
  When the day finally came, he grasped the chance to escape his masters fury. The slaves in the city-state began to rise against their masters, chaos reigned in the streets of stone and marble, as the soldiers struggled to keep the mobs in check. Blood ran down the hills, as the slaves started to slay their former masters with weapons or not and the soldiers slayed the slaves in response. Reginar snapped the neck of his master and escaped with the other slaves of the household, arming themselves with whatever they could get their hands on. Only three made it out of the city-state alive, one of them being Reginar. They decided to split up and go their ways, so they couldn't be caught as a group. It was the day when Reginars difficult way to finding himself began. He wasn't the northern tribesman anymore. But he wasn't a slave either. Despite the uncertainty of his future, he walked with pride and joy, knowing, that freedom was the greatest gift of all.
  
  Finding future
  Months passed after his escape from his master and he just ran and ran, never stopping until he had actually left the realm he had grown up in as a slave. But what should he do, he asked himself. He only knew the life as a slave and had practically nothing, living off the payment for occassional work he got as a farmhand. One day he passed by a forge of an aging blacksmith in search for work. The blacksmith, an elderly man with a long, white beard that appeared black due to the smoke of the furnace, hired him for doing the heavy work for him. What started as a short-time job, ended in Reginar becoming the blacksmith's apprentice. The elderly man passed his knowledge in just a couple of years and when he deemed Reginar worthy, he retired and gave all his tools and the forge to Reginar. "I can't teach anything form here on. Now it is only a matter of experience and dedication" he explained. Two weeks later, the kind man had died peacefully in his sleep.
