• Personality

  To be updated, but briefly:
  
  Lukstais is the flirty, high maintenance, and sociable type. He’s a little bit infatuated with being on land and interacting with humans, and doesn’t hesitate to go after what he wants or likes, despite multiple warnings from his concerned parents that he’s too adventurous for his own good. Spoilt, a little bit too vain, and quite over-confident, he can sustain a conversation by himself, and loves to stay preoccupied with company.
  
  In a modern setting, he is constantly up to date with the latest human news, and wants nothing more than to spend time with them and explore the surface world. He finds clothes and cooked food fascinating.
  
  In a medieval/historical setting, he is more so curious and slightly cautious, but dumb enough to go for any interaction he can get with the two-legged folk. He wants to find out more about the surface world, but doesn't know how to go about it just yet.

• Lore

  I am willing to change the lore of his world to suit the needs of the RP, below is just a world I created for Lukstais and I'm quite fond of it, so I put it here just in case someone else would be interested..
  
  To be updated, but briefly:
  
  Merfolk in this world use magic through musical ability, specifically skill in song – better singers have more magic and are able to transform into human form for longer lengths of time, without needing as many saltwater/seawater baths to maintain their hydration. They can also utilize small amounts of magic such as calming or attractive auras, communication with other sea mammals, and a very limited hydrokinesis (making bubbles or foam, causing water to condense from the air, removing water from items to dry them off instantly, evaporating small amounts of water, etc.), depending on their talent.
  
  All merfolk have streaked hair – the streaks represent their livelihood, and when they die, all the streaks disappear and their hair dulls in color. There is a superstition that all the streaks but one disappear on land because their lifespans are getting shortened, but there's no proof of the matter. Naiads (freshwater merfolk) also exist in this universe, but generally groups of merfolk keep to their kingdoms and preferred water sources.
  
  In modern settings, certain kingdoms close to land that have good relationships with humans collaborate in fishing hunts, and are able to send their young to 'study abroad' in land schools after appropriate training to live on land.
  
  In medieval or historical settings, Lukstais' history and background can be changed to suit the needs of the RP, but he will maintain some fascination with the two-legged folk. Depending on the frequency of contact with humans, merfolk can be either cautious of them, or relatively open to relationships, but not overly common.
