Scars: Muxetl has numerous scars over much of his body. Enough that it would be tedious to specify each and every one. Up his back is a massive lightning-shaped scar. A gnarly-looking scar moving across his left eye, which he lost many years ago. Several portions of his ears are missing. Missing the last knuckle of his right, ring and pinky fingers.
Piercing: Both ears have numerous piercings. The bridge of his snout also has three piercings.
Handicaps: Left leg was injured long ago and while he can walk without his cane, even without a limp if he wants, it does hurt. -

Bloodforce:
The color of each Zykla's bloodforce is unique. It is a manifestation of their unique soul and personality. Muxetl's bloodforce is a mossy green and black gradient with emerald motes floating through it.
Each Zykla has a number of abilities they can use with this wondrous energy. With great effort, one can learn new abilities, but for the most part, a Zykla's repertoire does not shift.
- Blood-Echoes - >Just as the Zykla can manifest their Bloodforce, So too can they maintain and manipulate its shape. This Ether, this Glittering Mist may be drawn to dance upon the Zykla's palm in every ghostly shape its caster should need to conjure. Be it for entertainment or illustration of their own myths and legends, this skill will be common to all Zykla though their echos are motionless.
This ability is rarely mastered to the equal of their Shamans. Transformed by practiced hands, Blood-echos becomes a visual art as entire sceneries are made living manifest at the Shaman caster's will with armies of animated puppets to flesh out Zykla history.
- Dream Walking - >Guardians and guides, Oracles are perceived as having loosened their tether to the terrestrial world. Able to parlay with spirits of all kinds, glimpse the world behind the veil and speak on behalf of the Gods. This is all done with two goals in mind. Serving the will of the gods and the plights of their kin. One such method is through the art of dream walking. Through ritual, an oracle may enter the sleeping state of another Zykla be they in the same room or across a distance so long as they have something from them. A hair, trinket or a piece of clothing can provide a sympathetic link with which to travel. Young practitioners can merely watch or implant subtle messages to their kin. As the ability grows, they can carry on conversations or interact with the sleeping Zykla and their dream world more directly, invoking calm or terror when the ability is completely mastered. However, this takes a heavy toll and many Oracles will gorge themselves on Bloodforce before attempting it as each moment within the dream will slowly drain it away. It also carries the risk of becoming “lost”. To the uninitiated, the dreamscape can become a cage from which she cannot escape. Locked until the dreamer wakes.
- Feral Projections - >Matter over mind. Projections are limited by both memory and distance. No spirit may safely dwell beyond the protection of their caster's mind... Unless freed of sentient form. At risk to their own sanity, Zykla Shamans and Oracles may descend their Projections to a feral state allowing them to move fluidly along the terrain and well beyond their scope of memory. While dangerous and costly, this sacrifice can vastly extend a projection's agency or even allow such simple yelps to pass vital warnings between distant groups.
Beware the Vile - Fellow Zykla, even our corrupted Kin can trace a projection to the caster. The costs of this art can and will leave the body vulnerable to Parasites at best and Predators at worst.
- Glitterdust - >A side effect of using Bloodforce, trace elements of the wisp can remain caught in the Zykla's fur even after all available Bloodforce has been spent. They are often seen being cast away by shaking or other swift movements, but cannot be rubbed, combed, or washed out. The Glitterdust will fade on its own in time. Bloodforce is not an elemental ability. It does not draw power from the fire, air, water, and earth of the Physical world, and can only affect them when used upon them already existing. The Bloodforce manipulates the physical realm on a macro level, but cannot change the physical makeup of any object.
- Soul Grip - >Soulgrip is a form of telekinesis that allows the Zykla to expend harvested blood force to manipulate objects at a distance, as though they had extended their hand to reach it. This is often limited to simple grabs or pushes, as fine motor skills become more complicated at distances. Amount of Bloodforce spent is equal in proportion to the amount of weight being manipulated and for how long. A secondary form of Soulgrip is a form of levitation in which the Zykla call Tetherbreaking.
- Soul Step - >Practiced Zykla may take refuge in the arms of their Bloodforce. At some cost, they might focus upon any point within their field of vision and take a single step towards it regardless of distance. Though a mere instant for the caster, observers will see the Zykla move into a veiling cloud of glitter dust only to fade from the eye as they complete their jaunt and reappear in a new location the Zykla was not at previously.
Soulstep is not without limitations. The casting Zykla is unable to travel through walls, the bars of a cage or if they are bound. The Zykla must be free of restraints and the area relatively open. The cost of their Bloodforce reserves will depend on the distance of their travel. A few steps will be less draining to their reserves, while a few yards will be more taxing.
- Syphon - >An obscure ability unique to some Zykla, Syphon may be used to tap into and draw away the Bloodforce of another. For good or for ill, The act will leave it's discoloring mark upon the victim's hide and fundamentally disrupt their ability to harvest fresh replacement for as little as a few days to as much as a full week. While it can be used through casting Bloodforce upon another Zykla at a distance, this method takes time and focus where so much as a single embrace could very well drain a Zykla instantly.
- Wisp - >When the Bloodforce is utilized by a Zykla, a colored aura will emanate from the user's fingertips. Directly connected to the ability being used by the Zykla and will follow the manipulation as it carries out. It has been observed, that the Wisp can also spill from the mouth with exhales.
